Chapter 4

Alisha's POV ;

Walking through the hallway in the giant building with a few giant penthouses, I reached home from the long walk through the good part of NYC.

"I'm hooome," I called, looking around for the boys. All I saw was my cat, Blue, perched on the couch. "Hello?" I walked to my room, guessing that they were out eating or something.

"BOO!" They all jumped out of a hallway closet, making me scream and jump backwards.

"What the hell!" I clearly wasn't used to this.

"Gotcha!" Niall pointed at me, laughing with the others.

"You guys are terrible." Frustrated, I moved past them and went into my room, closing my door behind me. I fell on my bed, staring up at the ceiling.

Knock, knock. "Alisha?" Niall.

Knock, knock. "Alisha?"

"Waa," I groaned, turning on my stomach. I heard the door open but didn't look to see who it was.

"I need to talk to you." He sat down next to me.

I sat up. "What is it?" Never really good at talking to boys, I awkwardly scooted closer to him. Things definitely got awkward over the years since he randomly showed up on my doorstep without seeing each other in centuries.

"You know I appreciate you letting us stay here, right?"

"Um, yeah. It's totally cool." I grinned, looking at him.

"So, what have you been up to lately?"

"Well.. school, sports, the usual stuff." I replied.

"Oh, what sports do you play?" He seemed more interested now.

I thought about it, forgetting. It was those eyes.. "Um.." Was I still staring?

"What?" he grinned.

"I just..," I paused. "I like your eyes."

He smirked, almost halfway. "You told me that when we were introduced."

"Oh my gosh, how long ago was that? How could you remember that?" I laughed, remembering how cute he is. Wait, we're just friends.

He laughed along with me. "You played a big part in my life."

I looked down, feeling my cheeks blush. "Pshh." After an awkward second, I stood up. "How about we go do something tonight?"
