Lily's POV
All day Dave as been begging me to go out on a date at some expensive restaurant, I felt bad for wasting so much of his money on this vacation.
I gave in since he insisted I go out on this wonderful date with him.
...
"Trust me Lily, your going to love this." Dave told me as the waiter took us to our table.
Our table ended up being on a balcony that gave us a beautiful view of the beach and the sun that is now setting.
"I even paid extra so it would only be us." Dave said as I looked at the empty tables around us
"Oh Dave, you didn't have to." I told him "But I wanted to." He said.
Dave's POV
After we finished eating we talked for a bit as we waited for the waiter to come back with the bill.
I played with the small box that was in my pocket, ready to pull it out.
But then...
The waiter just had to come right now.
That reminded me of the diner we went to and the waiter came and interrupted me before I could tell Lily my feelings towards her.
...
We went back to our hotel, Lily was watching television and I was next to her thinking of an other way to propose to her since the restaurant clearly didn't work.
"Are you ok?" She asked me in a concerned tone "Yeah, just thinking thats all." I told her.
She nodded her head before going back and watching the television that was playing some romance movie.
"Do you want to go to the beach?" I asked her "Right now?" she questioned "Yup." I responded.
