First Day

The first day of school is always the worst. Getting up early in the morning getting dressed and going to school. the only thing I look forward to today is Spanish class. Spanish class is my most favorite class of the day. My teacher is always so chill and everyone just talks.

In Spanish Class

Finally, the best part of the day. I walk into class and sit at my seat. We got our seat at freshman orientation day. The teacher begins to talk.

"Listen up everyone. As long as you do homework and copy notes then youll pass for the year. Easy enough right. One project this year and its with a partner."

Everyone stated cheering and looking at who they are gonna partner with.

"Only thing is, is that I choose your partner. Muahahaha"

Told you she was crazy. The whole class groaned. She started calling names off her list.

"Jacob and Kayla
Hector and Janet
Elana and Zach
Jam...an..Der.."

I zoned out looking out the window. I was in the back. Then I heard the teacher call my name.

"Jessy? Jessy raise your hand."

I raised my hand slowly hopping no one would laugh.

"Ah, Jessy. Yiu are paired with Jake. Raise your hand Jake."

A hot guy raised his hand. He gave me this intense stare. Almost like I was some treat. I heard girls giggling and I listened in on rhe conversation. I know, classical high school.

"How the hell does that rat get pair with Jake Cole. Ugh That should of been me. What a tramp. The hottest guy in school. Hes mine anyway."

After the teacher told us our partners I zoned out again. There was about 25 minutes of class left and the girls came up to me.

"Hey Jessy. Im Elana and these two girls are my besties Erin and Chelsea. So I heard you got paired wit Jake Cole. Well I just wanted to say that me and him are in an exclusive relationship. So dont be stupid ok?"

Everyone in the class started laughing. My blood began to boil. I stood up and got close to her face. I replyed not being able to control myself.

"Really exclusive considering just two seconds ago you were jealous that I got paired with 'Jake Cole' and saying that he'll be yours. Puta. Get it straight. If I were him I would never get near yoy being afraind that id get your bitchy attitude. I suggest you watch your back. I dont take kindly to bitches like you three ruining my school year. BACK OFF PUTA."

everyone just starred at me including the teacher. I have never been like that before. I dont know what got into me. Jake Cole was starring at me with a smirk. I grabbed my bag and ran to the art room for the rest of the class. My aunt works here. Im suprised I got in. Jex Catholic High School. I hate the uniforms. Just like anime high schools. But I do look hot in it if I say so myself. Ugh why do girls have to be so rude sometimes.

Soon the school day was over and I got my things from my locker. Changed from my school shoes to flats. I put my school shoes in my locker and closed it. I went home to an empty house.

Its not unusual. Papi (my dad) works all the time. Hes a doctor. Surgeon to be mor specific. I grab the note my dad left on the counter. I live in a mansion on the outskirts of town. I dont like shopping nor spending money. The most money I spend is like 10 bucks a week on books. Im a book nerd. My favorite is Sing Me To Sleep. I love it because it makes a Phantom of the Opera reference.

The note read,

I have to go into work again. Sorry baby girl. I left money for a pizza. I know your mother would've done better but shes gone. Make sure to pray before bed and visit her grave when you get home. I love you baby girl. See you tomorrow morning.
