Her eyes fluttered open. The back of her head hurt. She tried sitting up. It hurt. She winced and touched the back of her head.
A rough hand went on top of hers. She turned to see a boy, she thought was dead."Umm who are you?"
"Roy"
"Uh huh and who am I?"
"Kay"
Her head pierced at the name.
"Ow"
"Do you need some ice?" He asked warily. Kay shook her head.
"Roy?" Another voice joined. Roy looked up, removing his hand from Kays head.
"We are out of water" it said.
She can hear Roy sigh."Of course we are" he said getting up. Kay watched as he left. Hali looked back at her. Kay sighed. Hali sat beside her.
"What's wrong?"
A few years started to stream down Kay's face.
"I know all of these things but I don't. It's like someone tried to erase it all but failed"
Hali wrapped her arms around Kay and ran her fingers through her hair. More tears fell down Kay's face. Hali and Kay stayed like that for a while. The parted when Roy ran in in a panic. They looked up at him confused.
"Their here" he said. Hali's eyes grew wide. "No"
Roy nodded. Hali grabbed Kay's arm and pulled her up to a standing position. She looked around confused.
"Who's here?"
"The hunters. Now that the King has announced you his daughter thy will appear. Kay they want you and I don't know why" Roy explained.
"I know. I'm different. You said it yourself. I don't remember exactly but you said I was a Fray when we first met"
"You remember that?"
"Mmhm"
"Oh"
Hali switched looking at Kay to Roy and back again.
"Hold up she's a Fray?"
Roy nodded.
"Then why are we helping her she's powerful" Hali said backing up, away from Kay.
"Because the hunters want her dead and she could stop them"
