Sadie entered her house, her Ninetales and Minccino greeted her. She petted both of them, "Hey, Ninetales, Hey Muffy. You two want dinner?" The Pokémon nodded eagerly. Sadie smiled and prepared their Pidgey egg roll bites. She finished cooking them, and put them in the Pokémon's food bowls. She turned around, and jumped, "Oh! Ninetales. I didn't see you come in." Her Ninetales was staring at her, "Nine?" Sadie smiled and patted his head, "Food will be ready in a minute."
"Sadie. What's wrong? I know something's off. I want to help." Sadie couldn't hear Ninetales's thoughts, Ninetales still staring at her. "Okay, Foods ready, do you want to get Muffy?" Ninetales nodded and walked out of the kitchen.
Sadie sat on her couch after Ninetales and Muffy began eating. She took out her phone and began texting. Ninetales and Muffy looked at each other. Muffy hopped onto Sadie's lap. "Muffy?" Muffy lays down on Sadie's lap. Ninetales lies next to Sadie. "Hey! You two are really in the mood to be with me today, aren't you?" She pets them, "It's getting late. Let's get some sleep." Her Pokémon follow her to her room.
"Goodnight Muffy, Goodnight Ninetales." Sadie turns the light off. Ninetales lies in the moonlight, staring at the moon, "Arceus if you can hear me...Something's upsetting Sadie. She's trying to stay happy for us, but I don't want her to fake her happiness, I want her to be truly happy. Arceus, if you can hear me...I want to have the power to keep Sadie happy and safe. Please. Sadie means the world to me, and I know I caused her a lot of problems. Arceus, if you can hear me...My only wish is for Sadie to be happy. It hurts to see her like this...Please..."
Ninetales falls into a deep sleep, dreaming of a voice, "My Child. Your wish has been heard. I will grant you the power to complete your goal, but know this. You will only have this power for one month. Your power will be in effect as you wake up. Everyone except your trainer will already be used to your new form as if nothing changed. Now, it is time. Time to wake up."
