Ever since you and Myung went to that club, you've been paranoid. You feel like you're being constantly followed and watched, looking over your shoulder a few extra times than normal. But no matter how many times you look, there's no one there.
But other strange things have been happening, such as you losing your belongings, like your panties, and some clothes. Maybe you're just going crazy, or maybe you're stressed, due to how midterms are coming up, and you've had to work late.
You probably just need a good night's sleep. That's all...right?
Besides that, things at school have been uneventful, which isn't anything out of the ordinary, considering your lack of friends. But Myung has been acting weird lately. She's been a little more distant and off, almost like she was hiding something from you.
"Hey, watch it!" A girl snapped at you, pulling you out of your thoughts. You glared at her, muttering an apology, before moving on.
Ever since your project with Sangwoo, girls have been extra snippy towards you, giving you a hard time, especially since you've been seeing him a lot more. You see Sangwoo a lot more often. In the hall, at the cafeteria, and he even sits closer to you in the classes you have together.
It's nothing that important, just something you've noticed. But things changed one fateful day when Myung called you and told you that she wants to meet with you and tell you something important.
For some reason, she wanted you to meet at the restaurant as if was some sort of big occasion or something. With a sigh, you walked through the doors of the restaurant and up to the front desk, where one of the hosts stood.
"Hi, I'm _____? I should have a table with Myung." You said, glancing around the restaurant and searching for her.
"That's right. Here, follow me." The host led you over to the table where Myung sat, messing with her hair nervously. She looked nice, with some extra make-up on, and a cute outfit, almost as if she was going on a date.
Wait, is that what this is about? You wondered, the thought making your blood run cold. The last thing you want is for Myung to be dating. She's too young and has too much ahead of her.
What if she doesn't choose the right person? What if he hurts her? What if he uses her? You can't let that happen.
Myung is a smart girl. You know she will pick a good guy. You need to stop freaking out. This is why she doesn't want to talk to you about things like this, after all.
"How was your drive here?" She asked, fidgeting nervously, clearly stalling, and avoiding the subject.
"It was fine. What did you want to ask me about?" You responded, getting right to the subject.
"Uhm, so basically, you know how we talked about meeting the right person when we were at the club a couple of weeks ago? I think I did. It's not serious or anything, but I don't want you to think I've been hiding it from you. And I know you might not be happy with this person, but-"
"Sorry, I'm late." A familiar husky voice chimed in, and you glanced up, feeling your heart stop.
Dread, anger, and annoyance overwhelmed you as you stared up at him. You can't believe it. Oh Sangwoo is dating her.
You watched as he walked over to her, hugging her and pressing a kiss to her cheek, before turning to greet you. "Hey _____."
"Hi, Sangwoo." You replied, trying not to grit your teeth, and holding yourself back. "Myung, can I step outside and talk to you for a second?"
"Sure." She nodded, following you outside. Once you two were alone, you let it all go.
"Him? Of all people, after I told you specifically not to? He's trouble, Myung. You know that." You ran a hand through your hair, pacing back and forth, frowning to yourself.
"_____, you don't understand. You don't know him like I've gotten to know him. He's a nice and charming guy. You should get to know him too. I'm sure you'll be good friends." Myung replied.
"I know what type of guy he is. Yeah, he might seem kind and charming and handsome and perfect, but he's acting like that so he can get into your pants. You're making a big mistake going out with him, Myung."
"Will you stop? He's not as bad as you think he is, and you shouldn't be so quick to judge. You always assume the worst in people, when you don't even know them. You're projecting all your bullshit on me, and you know what? Not everyone's as broken as you are." She snapped at you, making you stop completely. She put her hand over her mouth, almost immediately regretting what she just said.
"You know what? You're right. You're old enough to make your own decisions, and I'm sorry for trying to protect you. I'm just some crazy broken girl, after all, aren't I?" You tried to hide the hurt in your tone, being as blunt as you could.
You turned away from her, walking off, while she tried to stop you. "______ wait. I didn't mean it- I'm sorry-"
"It's fine. I have to go to work, anyways. Have a nice night with your boyfriend." You walked off into the night, Myung's voice growing quieter and quieter in the distance.
--
Sniffling, you brushed the tears away as you opened the door to your car and hopped inside, slamming it shut. Fuck Myung. Fuck Sangwoo. Fuck everything. You gripped your steering wheel tightly, biting down on your bottom lip, as you shifted gears, driving away.
You were so worked up over Myung that you completely forgot you drove here, so you had to walk the five blocks back from where you first stormed off.
Trying to distract yourself, you flipped through the radio stations, before you smacked the dial in frustration, shutting it off.
You pulled up to a light, so lost in thought that you didn't even notice Sangwoo standing by your window. Not until he knocked at it, making you jump, and roll the window down. "Sangwoo? What the fuck are you doing?"
"Sorry, I was walking back home and I just saw your car, and look, I know you and Myung talked, and she was pretty upset after. I mean, she said she was tired and just left. I know I'm not your favorite person in the world, but I promise you that I'll never hurt Myung. I'd die before-"
"Oh, bullshit. Do you think I'm stupid? I know the games you're playing. I mean, going after a freshman? Now, listen." You reached out and grabbed him by his shirt, tugging him down to your level, your faces so close your noses were about to touch.
"If you harm a hair on her head, I swear on whatever's holy, that I will kill you." You meant every single word, glaring into his eyes, and noticing how they darkened ever so slightly, and how his lips curved even more upwards into something sinister.
Feeling a shiver run down your spine, you let him go, and mutter a small, "Bye" before driving off, wondering what the fuck just happened.
(A/N: It's finally time to spice some shit up babes
