After the long drive from Kukuroo Mountian, Killua finally makes it to his new apartment. He was anxious about going so far away from home for the first time. Of course, he hated his family, but he's never been so far away before. The only person the albino would miss is his sister, Alluka.

He prefers to live alone, so he specifically chose to not have a roommate. The person Killua was on the phone with guaranteed it for him, however, he couldn't help but worry that he would be stuck dealing with some random person who could easily be a pedophile. He steps out of his car and stares at the building before him. "Here goes nothing."

Killua's POV

After hauling my bags into the lobby, my jaw drops. The lobby is beyond nice. As a matter of fact, nice is an understatement. The floor was shiny, dark brown parquet flooring. The walls were a tan color that complimented the floor and there was a beautiful rose gold chandelier hanging down by the front desk. There was a variety of plants and paintings all over the walls that gave the place a magical aura.

The lady at the front desk greeted me with a hello, which snapped me back into reality. I walked up to the desk after answering her with a soft smile. "Killua Zoldyck. I requested a room about two days ago." She quickly types something on her computer and pulls out a room key. "Here you go, Mr. Zoldyck! Your room will be on the 4th floor, room 217." She says, with a bright smile on her face.

I take the key and thank the lady before walking toward the elevator. I didn't have to carry my luggage because a butler came and took it to my room. I honestly didn't expect this place to be so fancy, considering the price. However, it was probably different since I had a discount for being a college student. Many students go here because it's the closest to the campus, so the complex gave every college student a discount on everything to help make the year easier for them. It's way more expensive for just a regular person.

After the quick elevator ride, I make it to my room just to be in awe once again. The apartment was so spacious and clean. There was a pool table in the living room that turned into a coffee table and a separate bar that connected to the kitchen. There were two rooms and one bathroom. The bathroom was pretty average, but the rooms were beautiful. One of slightly different from the other, however the first one I entered was my favorite.

It was plain for the most part, but the walk-in closet was gigantic and the view was much better. There was a field of tulips since the building was right beside a giant flower garden. The window was huge, almost taking up the entire wall. It was in a perfect position so light filled the entire room.

I chose the first room instantly and started to unpack my things. The butler brought my stuff up before I even got there, which helped a lot. I placed decorations all over the walls and pictures of my friends everywhere.

I put one picture of my sister right beside the bed. For a moment, I found myself staring at it, a wave of sadness coming over me. I missed Alluka more than ever. We haven't even been away from each other that long, but it feels like it's been years. I regret leaving her there with those monsters.

I plop down on my bed, exhausted from unpacking. My phone dings and I check it, realizing that it's 2 pm. I got here at noon. "I've been unpacking for two hours," I mumble to myself. Realizing I haven't eaten since this morning, I decided to get dressed and go to the store. The fridge has nothing but complimentary water bottles and creamer packets, so some shopping is definitely needed.

As I get ready to leave, I finally notice that there's another room. Of course, I noticed it before, but me being stupid, I didn't think anything of it. It's weird to have two rooms in a one-person apartment. That's when I hear the doorknob jiggling. "Why won't this damn key work!" a voice says from outside the door. I walk over to try and open it, but the door flings open before I could reach it.
