Chapter Seven: Fight

Niko's POV (One week later)

I sit in the choir room as everyone does their assignment for this week, last weeks was canceled due to most of the club basically not doing it at all which honestly I'm not gonna complain about

This week's assignment was more family based and well.....Puck opted out of this assignment and I was going to but my mom convinced me successfully

"Great work Artie now who's next" Mr.Shue

"I am but I need a female vocalists" I say and I see no one but Santana and Quinn raise their hands, did I mention that the rest of the club is STILL mad at me

I sigh and look between the two and suddenly I spot Rachel slowly raising her hand up, I go to choose her but suddenly Quinn stands up

"I'll do it since you can't choose and I was with you when you picked the song" She says and I see Finn look at her with a smile and Rachel frown a bit as she looks down

"Umm ok" I say awkwardly, she sounds a little too eager to sing with me given that I'm only a hook up buddy

"What song are you singing for us Niko" Mr.Shue says blandly

"You'll see" I say as I start the music

I finish singing with Quinn and everyone claps for us and I smile and look to Quinn who is doing the same, she pulls me close and leads us to our seats

"Good Job Niko and Quinn" Mr.Shue says causing me to roll my eyes at him

"Greta now that everyone has performed let's discuss Sectionals" Mr.Shue says and I instantly tune it out, he's so boring sometimes and given that I signed up just for Rachel....I'm bored all the time 

Rachel's POV

I look at the floor feeling immensely guilty and jealous, Niko looks so good singing and I hate that she is with Quinn and not me but I can't be too mad since it's my fault I mean I didn't even let her explain....but I don't wanna get hurt again

"Umm Rachel, you ok" I hear, I look up to see Mr.Shue and the rest of the glee club looking at me

"Umm I'm fine no comments here" I say, I see everyone is shocked by that but before they can say anything the bell rings indicating it's time the end of the day, I grab my stuff and quickly hurry out of the choir room

But I don't make it far because I hear two sets of feet trailing me

"Rachel wait" I hear Santana say, I turn around and see Puck along with her.....Finn didn't even come follow me

"What now" I say irritated, they've been hounding me all week about Niko

"What was that back there, you usually disagree with everything Mr.Shue says but you were quiet which is unusual for you" Santana says

"Yea was it about Niko and Quinn" Puck says

"Oh my gosh would you guys stop, Niko has moved on and so have I ok.....leave me alone please" I say and walk away before they can say much else, ever since the first time they brought up this I've noticed little things

Finn getting upset when I regret him for sex, Quinn and Finn talking in the hallway alone sometimes, Finns longing looks at Quinn and Niko staring at me when she with Quinn..I've noticed it all

But then hounding me isn't helping me decide what to do.....or if I wanna give Niko another shot

Niko's POV

I huff in frustration as Finn fucks up yet another play, I take my helmet off as Beiste called us over

"Nice work Hudson, can't throw a ball in practice What makes you think we can win our game tomorrow" I say angrily

"Shut up ok, you can't even catch so what's it to you" He fires back, I walk over to him and get in his face

"I can't catch because you can't throw, how can I catch a ball when it's 15 feet over my head...captain" I say with the captain part being sarcastic

"I am captain so that means respect me, your the newbie here not me, I know what I'm doing" He says causing me to scoff

"Yo guys chill" Puck says trying to break us up

"You don't know what your doing Hudson, you can't even lead the football team or lead the glee club I mean come on you can't even stop them fro slushying your own fellow glee members....you can't even throw so how about you step aside because your not fit for the job" I say shaking my head

"Im doing my best, it's not like we can all be as tough as you jail bird" He says causing my anger to flare up, he knows why I was arrested so him saying that isn't helping

"Its not hard to tell someone off dumbass" I yell

"At least I got some practice while you sat in a jail cell" He says and I nod and look away from him, he got one more time to say that shit

"At least I can keep a girl happy....in every way possible" I say, Quinn told me Finn was not very good at.....not arriving early and Rachel and him never did anything so if he wants to stoop low, I will too

I see Finn's face go red and suddenly he swings and punches me in the jaw, i fall back but catch myself as I adjust my jaw and look at him

"You crossed the line Hudson" I say before tackling him to the ground and landing a few punches on him before Beiste and Puck held me back  as Karofsky and he's buddies held Finn back

"Stay away from my girl asshole" Finn yells at me causing me to smirk

"Laps both of you, don't stop till I say so" Beiste yells causing me to groan and take my pads off and run to the track and Finn does the same

He has another thing coming if he thinks I'm going to back down

A/n ok well that's two for y'all and I'm zoning in on the dance now because I don't want this to take longer than it needs to so prepare for this game and dance alright
