(Y/N POV)
Hi. I'm (Y/N) Brookstone. You might have gotten a hint there. Let's get some back story. So, I'm with the ninja. That's obvious. How did I get with them, you might be asking. Well, I'll tell ya. Cole and I were both with our dad. He took care of me for the whole time we grew up there. He left me one day. But Sensei found me and saw potential in me and took me in. I then got to be with him again and we are as close as ever. He still sees me as young and someone who needs taken care of. But he's gotten less like that luckily. But anyway, Sensei made us both ninja, long story short. He got Earth and I got nature. It's not like the elemental master of nature. It ties into Cole's power. Pretty awesome to be honest. Sad thing? I rarely go on missions with them anyway.... I'm glad to have Nya though. (You're 17 and Cole is 18. Nya is 17 and Jay is 18. The rest of the ninja is 18 too. Lloyd is older so he plays. He's actually only 17. He's still younger but yk, old enough to play.) Anyway, there's also something else. Nya really is my bestie and all, but she's hitting on my brother and my brother really likes her. Like, ok but still, protective brother mode. What's worse is that she likes Jay! Like, I really like him. I won't deny it or act like I never knew or anything like that. And again, she really is my bestie. But still, I really want Jay. But honestly? If Jay wants her and they start dating, I'll support them both. I'm not like, yk, the unsupportive type. Even with them. Cause again, she really is my bestie. Part of it is also I believe she is better than I am so if he dates her then I don't blame him. Also, I don't know if he even likes guys. Anyway, back to the present. We all just got back from celebrating a job well done. It wasn't something small, believe me. Anyway, it's really late and Sensei and Nya went to bed. The rest of us were still running on adrenaline. Honestly, it's like, 1 am but eh. We ain't tired so. We didn't know what to do with the rest of our energy. Suddenly, Jay perks up and says, "How about 7 minutes in heaven?!" We all groaned lightly, but having no better ideas to get our adrenaline high to calm down, we all reluctantly agreed. We sat in a circle near an empty (ish) closet, empty enough for 2 people to fit in anyway, and we all started putting things inside a hat. Jay wanted me to pick first for some reason. I was fine with it so I stuck my hand in and didn't look. I felt something like a hammer. Wasn't sure if that was actually it though. I took it out and saw it was in fact a hammer. A toy one though. Jay chuckles shyly and rubs the back of his neck. He starts blushing and says, "I guess you got me. Well, I know you did. It's my item. Hammer, who would've guessed right? Fun fact about that hammer, it's actually a toy. It has a back story too. I was a little kid and had it ever since. First hammer and it got me into inventing. Given by my dad. Did you know-" He starts ranting by now and he is trying to tell the story about when he first got the hammer and used it and I'll spare your ears of listening to this whole story. Eventually Kai speaks up and says, "Jay! Ok. We get it. Thank you. It's time." Jay stops and nods. "S-Sorry" he stutters. I say, "it's fine" and we eventually get pushed into the closet. We kinda stand there for a couple seconds until we hear, "7 minutes start now!" I assume from my brother. Que eye roll. Anyway, we make room for each other, as much as we can, and then Jay decides to speak first. "Need a light?" He asks. I say, "Yes please." He reaches and turns on the light above us. We look at each other shyly. I say, "It's ok Jay. We can just talk. I know you'd rather have Nya anyway." He says, "What? Where did you get that idea?" I say, "Well, I know she likes you and my brother. And I've seen how Cole and you act around her. So....." "No, no, no. (Y/N), you got it all wrong. I've only been like this cause Cole was all over her. We were trying to prove a point to each other. It's stupid now." He says. I respond with, "Oh. Wow. Ok." He says, "Yeah. I already discussed it with her and Cole today. We're fine now. I do like someone else though." I ask, "Who is it?" "He's in front of me right now." He responds with a small blush. I blush too and say, "Wait. Really?" He nods. "I've liked you too Jay." I say. He looks shocked. I confirm it's true and we're both really happy. "I'm glad I got you (Y/N)." Jay says. I reply, "Me too Jay." He says, "I wanna say something before I do this. You're a great guy. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise, ok?" I nod and then he quickly kisses me. I'm taken aback but slowly kiss back. It slowly gets heated and he pushes me against the wall behind me. We start making out and we hear the door open. We quickly break apart and it looks like someone was gonna get a picture. *cough* *cough* Cole. Anyway, he didn't get one, I assume with his frown. We all sit down again and Jay wants me to sit on his lap. I happily take the opportunity and sit on his lap. We cuddle there and we whisper "I love you" to each other. We continue the game afterwards. Totally worth being up late. Goodbye adrenaline rush. Hello new love.
