"As the 500th ruler of Ezra, my first command as Emperor is to find eligible young men. They have to be good looking, and have a considerable amount of wealth, power, or magic. I don't care if they are royalty, nobles or commoners. After they enter my harem, they will become my men."

"Your Majesty, you don't mean...?"

"Yes, it's exactly what you think. I, the Emperor of Ezra, hereby proclaim a male harem." Elkhart smirked.

"But Your Majesty, there has been no Emperor in the history of the Ezra Empire known to take in males as part of his harem-"

"So?"

The Prime Minister was too stunned to speak.

"Ah, yes, don't you have a son around my age? It would be best if he joins the harem selection." Elkhart grinned, enjoying the fear on the Prime Minister's face.

The Prime Minister passed out on the throne floor. Elkhart waved over a servant to drag him away. Then Elkhart stood up and made his way to his mother's room.

His mother was sitting down in bed reading a novel. Seeing her darling son enter her room, Zaria put down her book and grinned at him.

"Did you establish the male harem?" Zaria asked with a sparkle in her eyes.

"Yes, mommy. Are you happy?" Elkhart asked with a gentle expression on his face.

If his aids saw him like this, they would wonder if Elkhart was possessed.

"Of course! You are making my BL dreams come true! Don't forget to tell mother all the spicy details! Oooh, and please hire a painter to record all your sex scenes! I wish I had my smart phone!" Zaria said with excitement.

'She's still the same as ever...,' Elkhart thought.

Elkhart was already used to the weird rambling of his mother. When he was younger, he used to hate this woman but after being pushed into the Palace's lake 10 years ago when he was 10 years old, she changed.

She stopped abusing him and showered him with love. Elkhart was a smart child and knew that she was not the same person. Finally, she confessed that she came from another world and she told him that she transmigrated as the evil mother of the villain in the tragedy novel she read.

She wanted to change his fate as the villain but Elkhart accepted his fate as the villain. He saw no reason to change his fate much to his mother's sadness.

Apparently, when Elkhart becomes the Emperor, he will conquer a neighboring Empire and make that Empire's only princess marry him as his Empress.

That princess is the heroine, Ella Williams. She has powerful light magic, which is why in the novel, the tyrant Emperor becomes interested in her.

You see, the Tyrant has a curse. He has insomnia, which leads him to seek bloodshed as a form of entertainment to stop himself from becoming insane due to sleep loss. With her magic, he is able to sleep.

He soon falls in love with the pure woman, but she does not return his love. Ella views him as nothing more than an evil tyrant. She secretly has an affair with the Grand Duke, James, who is Elkhart's younger brother.

Ella and James poison the Tyrant. Unfortunately, after they killed the Tyrant, the seal to the Demon Realm broke. They realized too late that the Emperor was the one keeping the demons at bay with his dark magic. The World was then encased in total darkness and destruction. 

In the end, everyone died. Of course, Elkhart had no desire to change his fate as the villain but that doesn't mean he will fall for the heroine's and male lead's scheme.

His pride will not accept that ending. He has no plans to marry Princess Ella. Elkhart's mother was a fujoshi in her past life and her only wish was to see a live action BL, but people were to conservative to her disappointment.

As a doting son, Elkhart wants to fulfill her wish. Of course by proclaiming a male harem.

Thus, in the summer of Year 40001, the Tyrant Emperor Elkhart Ezra became the only Emperor to proclaim a male harem.
