Man, im working on so mamy things at once without motivation i need help- anyways heres another part for yall <3

Y/n pov

You were the girl everyone trusted, the girl everyone went to for help, the girl who carried the burden of the whole school, but the last person they helped.

Tired, you walked back home after school. You're head pounding, you're thoughts taken over by everyones secrets and regrets. Hungry, you entered the daisy mart and bought a chocolate bar

"Hey devon" you said as you placed it on the counter and pulled out you're money "sup kid, this all?" He asked in his usual monotone voice a slight smile on his face

Devon never really cared for customers, you didn't know why he talked to you.

"Yup, just this thanks" he nodded and gave you the change. On you're way out you saw 4 girls stacked on eachother practicly drooling over devon. You knew them, they were the group of the school, you never saw them without eachother. In all honesty you had a crush on one if them, miriam. She rarely ever burdened you with anything.

"He looks like a hobo!" One said leaving the stack "a HOT hobo!" Another said. Then they started drooling over 4 town. You were not gonna lie they were hot but, you found others better

As you were about to leave you heard you're name "oh hey! Y/n whats up!?" Miriam asked. A slight blush found it's way on you're face as you turned around with an akward smile

"Heyy! Miriam im great, how are you?" You asked "im good, have... you been standing there the whole time?" she asked looking a bit scared "uhh yeah sorry" she hugged you sideways and took you over to her friends

You smiled at them and nodded to mei, she had been venting to you for some time now, poor girl was troubled "hello" they all said together. You were too focusted on introducing yourself you didn't realise miriam's hand was still over you're shoulder.

A while later mei left and you yawned "hey y/n you wanna come with us?" Abby asked excitedly "i would but, im tired sorry" you apologised "no need to apologies girl, go get some rest" priya asured you "thanks, i will see you guys tommorow" and you left

Da next day

You walked in school, unsure if you were mentally prepared to hear others  troubles. You opened you're locker when a girl walked up to you "hey l/n, u mind if we talk?" She didn't seem nice

"Uh yuh sure, whats up?" You asked sympatheticly "well.." she started going on about her personal life, how her parents hated her, you didn't really care anymore but you listened, comforting her the best way you could.

Once she told you everything she needed to she smiled "thanks weirdo, i needed that" and she walked past you bumbing on you hard causing you to stumble back since you weren't expecting it

"Whoa! Watch it!" You heard a familiar voice behind you "are you ok?" Miriam asked you "hm? Uh yeah im fine thanks" she smiled at you and helped you pick your stuff up

"What is with her?" She asked "well you know, she just wanted to talk" you said closing you're locker "y/n you can't keep this up" she sais "what?" She pulled you in the bathroom, in the last stall

"You know exactly what i mean, you can't keep this up you know, it's not healthy" she scolded you "i know, miriam but i can't just stop helping everyone, they would hate me" she grabbed you're shoulders and pulled you closer faces inches away. This caused you to blush hoping she didn't see

"You listen to me, it is NOT you're job to play therapist for so many, especially when you don't have someone to talk to yourself." You knew she was right but you felt bad "yeah, you are right." she smiled still holding onto you're shoulders

"There we go, was that so hard?" You shook you're head as tears formed in you're eyes "hey, hey whats wrong?!" She asked "i-i just feel like i have to help everyone, like i don't want to let them down, it's hard miriam. I know almost everything about everyone i can barely think of anything els" you confessed

"Aw, n/n come here" she said and hugged you. After a while you pulled away and wiped you're eyes "n/n? Really?" You asked making her laugh "what? It's cute. So it fits you" she confessed "what?" You asked wide eyed "you heard me" she said feeling a sudden wave of confidence rush over her

"Hm, so you think im cute" you curled your lips in a small smile "i can't say i don't think the same" you said. Now it was her turn to blush "r-really?" She stuttered "yup" she then stood there fkr a moment. Like she was thinking

"Can i tell you something?" She asked "go for it" she then took a deep breath "look, i like you like alot and i was wondering if you wanted to go out?" She asked closing her eyes tightly "i like you too, mir calm down. And yes id love to go out" she smiles and jumped up at you hugging you

"Thank you!" She wishpered "no miriam, thank you" you said pecking her lips "cmon now, we are late" you laughed and pulled her out if the stall.
