Hello, friends! I've come back on Wattpad to write another fanfiction, but this time, it will be a love story between Saguru Hakuba and Shiho Miyano taking place in their middle school years. Please note that I have never been in a middle school relationship. My love life in that era was tragic to say the least. Being in love with someone so close (in distance) yet so far (for someone I wanted to talk to) would definitely be so. For that reason, I never had a boyfriend. I couldn't think about being with someone other than the one I could never approach. My concept of middle school romance comes from Dork Diaries, pretty much. Enough of my tragic story, let's introduce this tragic story!
In this timeline, Saguru (from Magic Kaito) is in 7th grade and has just transferred to an American school to study there for an undetermined amount of time, while Shiho (from Detective Conan) is in 8th grade, and has stayed in America since early childhood to study science. Assuming that the current timeline takes place in 2020, the year this fanfiction takes place will be 2015 (the year I started writing fanfiction online). It takes place approximately 6 months before she goes back to Japan to officially join the Black Organization as Sherry to lead the research of APTX4869, the drug that turned Shinichi, the main character of Detective Conan, back into a child! That is all the context I will give!
For those who are unfamiliar with the characters, no worries! Other than the main two, the rest will pretty much be original characters. I recommend searching the two main characters up, but most of the canon stuff needed to understand this story will be explained, and visuals will be provided throughout the book! Please support the original works if you become interested in it through this book!

And I should note, some aspects of the fic are inspired by coolshiho's "The Final Silver Bullet," such as the presence of visuals in some parts of the story.
