It felt like a normal morning for Lily, but that would quickly change.
It all started with Lily looking glum and lonely, her mom asked her what was wrong, but all Lily answered that it was nothing, just jot enough sleep. But that wasn't the real truth. The real truth was the book, it had said something that would haunt Lily for ages, maybe even her whole life. This thing was the quote, "If you shall tell any one of this book, only dread and guilt and death shall come upon you on that very day." Lily was scared to where she couldn't keep it in. For she had already told someone about the book. But nothing had happened that very day. So Lily thought, if nothing happened to me the day I told the library keeper about the book, then it might just be a silly little quote. But Lily was wrong.
