Dear diary,
It's been a few days, and I never expected my life to be so difficult. Back in the 21st century, all I needed to do as a 16 year old was to study.

In this era, there were much more concerns. The others are complaining that I'm leeching off you. Although I said it was only temporary, I felt bad for imposing on you.

I'm sure you felt that way, too.

So I decided to go out and scorch for a job. I found one at the port to move goods. The pay was low, but at least I could give you my earnings.

You stared at me strangely when I handed the money to you.

"Take care of me," I said with a grin.
