⚜THE BEGINNING OF AN OBSESSION⚜

"The dark lord," and as the man addressed him, the other's glowing green eyes colliding with his own ruby red ones, Voldemort felt himself shiver. "is strangely delusional..." saying that, the man vanished, taking away Potter away with him...taking away the enchanting green eyes away with him...

*KNOCK*KNOCK*KNOCK*

Three soft knocks on the door, had Voldemort's attention back to the present. "My lord?" Lucius's nervous voice made a savage smirk appear on the snake like pale face. 

"You may come in, Lucius." after a pause, where Voldemort could guess the blond was trying to gather his courage, the door creaked open softly. Lucius Malfoy immediately bowed his head, as soon as he entered only daring to raise his head after receiving the signal from Voldemort. Despite raising his head, the blond kept his eyes down -not daring to meet the fearsome red eyes of his lord.

"The information...the information, my lord had ordered -I have it- my lord." the elegant and mighty Lucius Malfoy's pathetic trembling voice gave bestial pleasure to Voldemort. 

 "...And what does the information include, my friend?" his soft his caused the blond lord to shiver, visibly. Tensing further, the Malfoy Lord started delivering the information he had been ordered to like a broken doll, "Harrison Peverell, Harry Potter's new magical and non-magical guardian, he suddenly appeared in the limelight at the beginning of the year. Before that, any past record or activities of the man are completely erased...as if-as if the man simply never existed in the past." Voldemort idly leaned back on the chair, which for some reason caused the blond to flinch. Voldemort ignored him, simply closing his eyes and leaning back as if into a relaxing position. 

"You may continue Lucius...I am simply reverting to a more comforting position." at this Voldemort's eyes glanced, meaningfully at the blond -who clasped his fingers tightly- bringing them in front of him, and started reciting once again, "Since, Mad-eye Moody has been assigned as the Hogwarts' DADA professor, Harrison Peverell was personally hired for the Head Auror post, by the ministry....According to the eye witnesses present during Peverell's examination...the man broke all previous records of even the most renowned aurors...The ministry couldn't find a single flaw in his examination, causing them to immediately hire him -first as a normal auror- but after Moody's placement...Peverell was personally nominated by Madam Bones for the Head Auror's job."

There was a pause again, and the dark lord could finally feel the blond's eyes on him. Voldemort however, continued to still lean back in the same position, his eyes closed once again. "...Peverell's first known appearance was made, when the man apparated in the middle of the Hogwarts Great Hall, during the choosing of the 'Champion' of the Triwizard Tournament. According to what I have gathered, Potter's name had come out of the Goblet of fire...despite the boy being underage," Voldemort could now fully tell, without even the need to see -what kind of expression the blond had; full of suspicion, "despite the boy never enlisting his name." 

A soft sight left the lipless mouth, 'Lucius was too...nosy for his own good...' 

"Oh?" Despite knowing, that the blond lord was indirectly showing his suspicions on him, Voldemort feigned ignorance...and innocence. "...Yes, it was quite a surprising thing to occur, My lord." The Malfoy lord's voice had started regaining his original silkiness. "...And right before, Potter was forced to accept that he had become a fourth champion -Harrison Peverell officially made his entrance- introducing himself as the Potter boy's guardian."

Voldemort made no effort to show any reaction to the Malfoy lord's tactics. Voldemort knew very well what Lucius was trying to do -gain information by feigning innocence- and the dark lord was not someone who entertained such measly tricks. Seeing that he was not going to gain nay new information, Lucius continued once again, "After that, Peverell was reported to have disapparated away with Potter right from the middle of the Great Hall."
