Payton kinda paused for a second. I started getting butterflies, not knowing if she was going to say yes.

BANG. BANG. BANG. BANG.
Rae and I are standing in front of Payton's house banging on the door.

"HELLOOOO!!!" Rae yelled repeatedly ringing the doorbell.

The door opened and Audrie Micah were standing there.

"What the problem ladies?" Micah said raising his eyebrow and crossing his arms.

"Where's your sister?" I said stepping into the house.

Rae walked in behind me and she closed the door.

"She's in the kitchen making some popcorn, we were gonna watch Annie!" Audrie said the last part jumping with excitement.

Payton starting walking towards us.

"You know you not suppose to open the door for an~GCO~"

"PAYTON!" I yelled.

I grabbed her arm and pulled her to the couch, Rae sat on the other side of her.

"He-e-y guys what's up?" Payton said sounding scared and confused.

"Can you little critters go in your room for a second pwease?" Rae said pouting her bottom lip.

"C'mon Micah let's go" Audrie said as her and Micah ran upstairs.

"What's this all about?" Payton asked.

"How come you didn't tell us about you and Noah?!" I said shaking Payton.

"What about me and Noah?"

"THAT YOU TWO ARE DATING!!!" Rae said yelling.

"Dating, since when were we dating?" Payton asked.

"I thought we were your best friends" I said wiping my fake tears.

"You guys are crazy" Payton got up and walked to the kitchen.

"Crazy?!?!" Rae got up quickly but stumbled a little almost slipping on one of the toys on the floor.

Payton took the packet of popcorn out of the package and put it in the microwave.

"Look, he just ask me out on a date that's all"

"That's all? That's all?!?!" I sad jerking my neck.

Rae and I ran beside Payton and squeeze hugged her."I'm so happy for you" Rae said.

"My little baby" I said patting Payton's head.

"K thanks, you guys can go, you're messing up my whole relaxing day here."

We completely ignored what she said and sat on the stool in front of the island, leaning our face on our hand,
"So when's the date?" Rae asked.

Payton rolled her eyes and said, "Friday."

"Nice" Rae and I said nodding while looking at each other then back at Payton.

She took the popcorn out of the microwave and poured it into at big bowl.

"What are you gonna wear?" I asked her.

"Dunno, joggers and a cute t-shirts maybe?"

"Oh heeeeeeellllllll no, my bff ain't going to no date lookin like she just woke up" Rae said rolling her neck.

"I don't wanna look like I'm trying to hard"

"But you don't want to look like you're not trying at all" I said.

"What's today" I side-eyed Rae, "Wednesday" she said checking her phone.

"We'll be back tomorrow to go shopping for some new clothes, because this, right now? Isn't working" I said pointing her up and down with my finger.

Payton was wearing a pink tank top and bandana joggers.

"Whatever" Payton said.

She picked up the bowl and started walking towards the living room.

Quickly, Rae and I shoved our hands into the popcorn grabbing a fist of it "Bye" we said then ran out the house laughing eating popcorn.
