You walked into the school building after getting no sleep the night before. You quickly made eye contact with Ameila from across the commons and walked past everyone else. Even if that someone else would have been Luke.
I mean not that Luke was there at school yet. He always came to school right before the bell rang and when i mean right before i mean one time he got there 15 seconds before it rang.
As soon as she saw you she stood up and started making her way over to you, seeing you in a rough shape made her sad too.
You knew if you told anyone else of the events of last night it would spread like wildfire. You just hoped you wouldn't start showing soon as it would be summer soon and you wouldn't be able to hide in a hoodie all summer.
After you and Ameila both sat down you heard a group of guys starting to get loud which meant Luke was actually here on time. This honestly surprised you but at the same time he probably rushed to school as fast as possible because you hadn't answered his texts all morning.
You could tell Luke was trying to push through his friends to get to you but he couldn't. You two made eye contact and he nodded his head telling you he would talk to you later.
You couldn't help but smile at this. Although the smile disappeared just as fast as it had appeared in the first place.
He looked so happy around his friends and you didn't want to ruin that and make him spend less time with them because of a baby. I mean hell you both were only 18, you wanted him to experience the rest of his young adulthood without having the responsibility of another human.
That's the moment you had decided you weren't going to tell him and move away.
Maybe you would come back in a few years and he'd have moved on or at least you hoped.
You also knew he had a dream of starting his own band and you knew he wouldnt be able to do that with the pressure of a child right off the bat.
He had also gotten into college here and you hadnt so you were not going to make him move because of a baby.
~Time skip~
It was just after 5th period and you were heading to lunch. You would probably either spend lunch in the bathroom or with Luke seeing as you had no motivation to even exist today.
While you were walking with one of your earbuds in you heard stomping, or more like a very tall person running.
When you looked back to see what it was you saw Luke running to try and catch up to you.
You stopped and stepped to the side of the hallway so nobody would run into you.
When he finally caught up to you he was out of breath even though he didn't run very far or fast seeing as the hallway wasn't that long. He put his hand on your shoulder to steady himself so he didn't fall over and you smiled up at him with a close mouth smile.
When he finally caught his breath he smiled back at you and didnt say anything before asking "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, im fine" you nodded, trying to convince him and yourself
The two of you walked to lunch in complete silence,holding hands.
As much you liked the quiet in the world, Luke being the loud person he is made you happy and brought you peace which was weird cause you liked quiet
When you arrived at lunch you two walked through the lunch line to get food which consisted of something you would never normally get.
Pizza.
You absolutely hated cheese and almost never ate pizza unless you were forced.
Luke gave you a somewhat strange look but you didn't see it as you were about to pay for your food.
You and Luke payed for your food and walked to a table so it was just the two of you
Luke sat next to you and you leaned your head onto his shoulder
You guys had been sitting there for about 6 minutes and you hadn't touched your food
You were thinking about everything currently going on and how you would have to leave everyone soon.
That's when you started crying and when Luke noticed he held you in his arms
Luke knew better than to ask you if you were okay again because he knew you weren't
When the lunch bell rang he dragged you back near the back of the cafeteria
"You need to go home" He told you, holding your face in his hands
All you could do was nod cause if you talked you would let out probably the loudest sob anyone had ever heard
Luke pulled you into another hug before you held your hand again to take you to your car to drive you home.
