Nightmare strikes Dream down with a tentacle, making him lose his grip on his bow. Nightmare grins at the weakened guardian. "You're so pathetic." He insulted as he wrapped a tentacle around Dream, making eye contact with him. He tightened the tentacles, causing Dream to gasp for air

"Look at you. So weak. You're no hero."
Nightmare let go of Dream who then fell onto the ground, a pitiful expression appeared on Nightmare's face for a split moment, then turned back into an emotionless, uncaring gaze.

He put a leg on Dream's skull "Come on, get up."

He added weight onto Dreams making him cough out blood "You're a hero aren't you?"

Finally, He turned Dream into nothing more than pieces of dust.

Nightmare gazed at the dust particles as it follows the wind, disappearing.
He held the only remain of his brother, the crown.

He held it tightly, too tightly. It breaks into two pieces, tears start forming.
Suddenly there was someone clapping from behind him. He turned, immediately wiping away his tears only to meet eyes with The protector of AUs themselves, Ink.

"Wow! You've really done it this time haven't you Nightmare? What a great show!" He praised, a sweet smile plastered, although the smile gave off an eerie and sinister atmosphere.

Nightmare's first instinct was to stab the artist with one of his tentacles, he was fast but not as fast.
Ink swiftly dodges it, "Ohoho whoops~ I must've interrupted it haven't I?" Ink giggled putting a light pink stroke of paint on him.

"Now now, with Dream gone, this where the story ends." Ink grins, Nightmare gave a deathly glare as his body began to disappear.

"What a fun story, you've really impressed me creators!" Ink said, wandering off to another AU
