I saw him today. That was weird. I swear I killed him yesterday. But no, there he was sitting two seats ahead of me. Maybe it wasnt him. Maybe i was hallucinating.
"STOP CHEATING!" He bellowed at his friend playing uno with him. No that was definitely him.
"shut up Aarnav, youre so loud!" I shouted at him, desperately trying to get his attention so he knew i was there.
He turned around and stared at me;
"Mind your own business Ahdam,"
"Hmph." I replied.
I could hear the girls in front giggling at me and Aarnav's interaction. I really didnt think it was that funny, i guessed id have to ignore them for now.
We had a whole day of school ahead of us, me and Aarnav's conversation would have to wait.
~the end of the school day~
He hung behind at the end of class and waited for me.
"What was that all about yesterday, Ahdam? Why did you put cyanide in my drink?" He demanded,
"What! You saw that?"
"Of course i did, you were acting suspicious the whole time and kept fiddling with that bag in your pocket and you think id leave you alone with my food?"
"Im sorry Aarnav,"
"Yeah you really ruined our date, you know that, i really thought we had something going on there."
He sounded genuinely disappointed when he said that too, i felt terrible and immediately regretted my decisions of the evening before.
