I had to pick up Manny's diapers for mami. The isles were pretty empty. I was a little embarrassed. I mean who in the hell puts the diaper section right next to the tampons and pads. It was only 5 so most kids lingered here for a while. I grabbed the diapers and headed to self check out quickly.
I bumped into someone. Great. I look up and I see. OMG. Miles looked down at me with a goofy smile. I paused.
He's so pretty. Did I mention he's pretty. He's more then pretty he's beautiful. You could stare at his face and find something new to admire. He was charming with his pearly white smiles and comforting gazes.
"You good there Cor?" he teased. Sometimes I think he knows I'm basically in love with him possibly. " Yeah just thinking if I should um get Manny some candy he seemed down and stuff" I lied.
"Righhttt let me help you" he said as he grabbed the diaper box and helped me to self check out. He watched me quietly as I checked out manny's diapers. "Taking the bus?" he said. "Yeah wanna tag along?" I asked. "Bet" he smiled.
Miles wasn't the type to say no if he didn't want to do something he'd just avoid it. He hated hurting people's feelings which also made it hard not to like him. So when I accidentally held his hand on the way out he didn't do anything although I think I felt his hand pause. It's too late now to remove my hand. AHHH.
Be calm. Be chill. Be normal. I can feel my hand getting clammy. " I'm sorry I- it was instinct. I always hold Manny's hands on the way out, you know how he likes to run off." I quickly said looking deeply in his eyes to come off as convincing as one could when starring into the eyes of their one true love crush guy who's too perfect for this world and universe.
He looked at me and for a second I saw it his eyes soften. Why was he looking at like that? Is he analyzing me? Is he on to me? "It's alri" he chuckled.
Author's note Fixed up this chapter a bit hope u guys like it. :D Also reminder Corazón is a 15 year old girl who's a hopeless romantic and lives a little in her head so her emotions and reactions may be a little extra but it's what makes her her.
