A Trip to the Past

Sasuke's view

Sasuke's eyes shot open and he jumped up. He had another nightmare, even though he only had small amounts of sleep. He sighed and looked down, his head in his hands. He looked up again and saw his face in the mirror. "WHAT!?"

Naruko's view

Naruko woke up with a start. She was drenched in water. She gasped and looked up, and to her horror, saw a child Sakura. "S-s-sakura chan!? What are you doing here? And why are you a child!?" Naruko jumped up. Sakura had moved out years ago. She remembered how proud Sakura was to be able to support herself. Sakura grabbed Naruko and pulled her out of the window. "W-w-wait where are we going?" Naruko began shivering. It was cold outside and she was drenched in water. Not to mention she was wearing just a pair of shorts and a crop top. Sakura responded with a short "To see Sasuke."

Sakura's view

Sakura had awoken and was shocked to realize that she was in Naruko's and her old apartment. She tried waking Naruko up normally and peacefully, but to no avail, and ended up using a water Jutsu. She knew what was happening. They were stuck in the past. She kept pulling Naruko behind her as she ran as fast as she could in her weak child body. She realized she would have to pass the Market and hesitated. She felt Naruko stiffen behind her. She paused and jumped into a tree, still dragging Naruko with her. She crouched and faced her.

Naruko's view

Naruko realized Sakura was taking the shorter path through the Leaf Market and froze. As Sakura pulled into a tree and faced her, Naruko simply looked at her with a blank expression. Sakura opened her mouth, paused, and continued. "Naruko, I know you don't like going through the Market but we have to hurry. Let's use henges, okay? I know you're worried but they won't notice you if we hurry. And we have to go see Sasuke first. I need to make sure we're all here. More like it's him, otherwise Suna's attack will demolish us." Naruko paled. She hadn't realized what time period they were in. The Chunin Exams. Naruko took a deep breath and nodded. She stood and so did Sakura. In unison, they spoke. "HENGE-NO-JUTSU"

Hello to everyone reading this and thank you! I write this during school, so I can't update on a regular basis. I already wrote a few chapters. so I published them but I probably will start with one chapter at a time. Thanks again for reading this!
