I walked home still shocked from what I had witnessed. I looked up at the sky, the sun was rising.

It was morning already? Did all of that really take so much time cause it felt like it all just happened within seconds

But that was not the problem right now. How was I going to tell micheal about what I saw, forget micheal what was I going to say to Henry

I soon reached his house. I stood in front of the door hesitating as I reached the handle. Maybe I could go back and pretend I was sleeping and have no idea of what happened

Yeah! That could work. I walked in the house. I mean it's not like anyone is awake at this time righ-

"Y/n"
I stopped dead in my tracks as I looked up. Henry was sitting on the counter. His hair was but messy and his eyes looked tired. He had a coffee in his hand and he had a confused expression

"Henryyy heyy" I said walking towards him "where were you?" He asked taking a sip of his coffee

"Oh me? Yeah I couldn't really sleep so I just went for a walk" I quickly came up with something taking a seat infront of him

He looked a but suspicious of this but shrugged it off "oh" Is all he replied

There was a moment of silence between us. I have to tell him, the longer I wait the worse the situation will get

"Ok I lied" I confidently said looking at him. This made him startle a bit at the sudden words

"What...?" He asked. I sighed rubbing the bridge of my nose "so you see basically..."

I explained everything to him, how I followed William, him destroying the robots, the spirits and his death

"...and yeah" I finished my explanation. He remained dead silent. His eyes we're a bit wide too. Maybe I should have waited a bit, I mean it is really early in the morning, the sun hasn't even properly come out yet

After a bit more silence I was loosing patience "Henry" I said a sternly yet slightly desperate for him to reply

"I- I knew it!" Henry suddenly said angrily getting up which made me flinch slightly

"Knew what?" I slowly said "William was the murderer all along" He said getting a bit sadder
"Murderer.." What?

"That means those hallucinations weren't hallucinations after all"

Man I am so confused to what is happening right now.

"Uh mind explaining?" I asked him akwardly

He stared at me for a few seconds before sighing and sitting down

"I'm sorry about that it's just... I don't even know what to say anymore honestly" He sadly chuckled "it's fine" I replied

"It's just then ever since c.c (crying child) died William isolated himself in his basement and barely ever talk to anyone or even come out, but then one day he randomly came back full confident and happy like nothing ever happened and that's when.." He trailed of his words slowly

"The murders happened?" I finished his sentence. As he nodded.

I was dating a murderer all this time? How did he get away with it? Well I guess he didn't exactly cause he's dead now

That's when something hit me

"Hey do you think..." Henry's head looked up at me "William was responsible for Elizabeth's death kind of like c.c" I asked look up at him nervously

"I think so yes..." I sighed putting my elbows on the table as I hid my face in my hands

This was all to much at once "how are we gonna tell micheal" I shrugged

What... So it was dad all along?
