It's three in the morning, and I have school later in the day. Right now I'm laying in bed with my blankets covering my body, and my phone in my face. Tumblr gets quite weird in the young hours of the morning.
All of a sudden, my phone tings, and the name Penn with a message pops up on my screen.
Penn: hey u still up
Me: yea why
Penn: i need advice
Me: ok on what exactly
Penn: what outfit should i wear tmr
Me: and you're asking me this right now...why?
Penn: bcuz.
Me: ok.
Penn: ok.
Me: im asleep now zzz
Penn: no ur not
Me: bye
Penn: bye.
Penny Mary-Grace Marriweather has been my best friend since fourth grade. With her brown hair that's usually in a messy bun, her purple-rimmed glasses, and her "retro style," Penn has always been on the odd side. She's crazy, annoying, funny, and absolutely unpredictable. I love that about her. She's easy to like and she's nice to almost everybody.
Even if Penn is quite strange, she has her boyfriend, Lucas, who's draped over her a lot of the time. Lucas is a nice guy; kinda quiet and geeky. He's cool though. He's tall and lanky with shaggy hair, but has an awesome jawline.
I turn my thoughts toward my window, which has been lit up behind the curtain for one measly moment. It's storming again. I uncover myself and walk over to my window. I peak behind it and gaze at the beautiful sight. Rain. And lots of it.
After a couple of minutes, I crawl back into my bed. It's warm and comforting. My eyes eventually become heavy. I check my phone once more before I go to sleep. Nothing.
Penn's probably sleeping by now.
