"W-what??"
"I said, that man is Izuku." Toshinori repeated pointing to the double-sided mirror and the listless man in it. "B-but how!?"
"When we were fighting he.. he said something from that day," He gulped. "... the day I failed him..." Inko rushed passed them and slammed the interrogation room door open.
"Wavelink." Spoke the inhuman. "What brings you here? In this fine police station."
"I work here, as an officer."
"Do you now? How fascinating.." He muttered curiously. "My congrats, please continue your hard work, Officer Wavelink." Inko dismissed the praise. "Wavelink was my hero name, I go by Tsukauchi now."
"Tsukauchi? As in Officer Tsukauchi? The lie detecting ace detective?" Inko placed her hands firmly on the table. "That's my husband," she nodded at double-sided mirror to the right of her. "I'm Tsukauchi Inko."
Robotto twitched at that but continued. "How delightful, I hope all is well?" She smiled. "We've just had our anniversary, been seeing each other for seven years, and married four." The man nodded, leaning back in his chair. "Beautiful, beautiful." He muttered quietly staring up at the ceiling. "Listen, mister..."
"Robotto."
"Right.. well Mr. 'Robotto' we have found your true identity." He tilted his head in confusion, exactly how Izuku used to, Inko frowned. "True identity?"
"Yes, according to a tip and blood testing." She snapped her fingers and a frightened looking intern rushed in with some papers, the intern squeaked in fright when seeing Robotto's large frame and quickly rushed off. "We have come to...." She faltered. "We have come to the conclusion that your true identity is one Yagi Izuku, is that correct?"
"I... " He went quiet and uttered the name a couple of times, as if he was trying to remember something, it reminded Inko very much of the muttering of her supposedly late son. "I am.. not familiar with that name."
"W-what.."
Inko stared at the inhuman with wide, unidentifiable eyes. "I've never heard of that name, are you sure this information is correct?" The woman narrowed her eyes. "How could that be possible? We've got all the data right here!" She slapped the files onto the table. "And I'm saying I have no idea what you're talking about."
Tsukauchi stared at two through the double-sided with a disheartened look while Toshinori looked like he would wither away at any moment, his once brilliant blue eyes now dim with sorrow. They nearly jumped when Robotto started to look at them, he couldn't see them but he continued to stare, watching but never seeing
Inko watched as Robotto looked off at the double-sided mirror, not to see through, but to take in his form. Sighing, she slumped her shoulders and thought back for a moment. "Do you..." She took a shaky breath, The inhuman brought his attention back to her. ".. remember when we got your quirk checked?"
"Pardon?"
"All the other kids showed signs of their quirks showing but you never even started." The retired hero brought a hand up to her face and stared at the table. "I'm sorry but I don't follow, what are we talking about?"
Inko continued. "We arrived and the doctor had taken an x-ray, remember? You said it felt ticklish."
"I believe this is an interrogation and not a confessional, Wavelink."
