Chapter 17

The weekend was awesome. It's was Monday morning and like they all say, everyone hates Monday. That's right, I hate Monday's too.
It was 6:00 am and I questioned myself why the heck I was awake already. I checked my phone and had 1 unread message from Austin.

It read, "Good Morning beautiful. See you later. Meet me outside the courtyard. Love you. 💜"
I love his cute random messages that I receive from him. Since I woke up way too early and I got to be at school by 8:00 am , I decided to start getting ready because I take way too long to get ready.

I got up and went to take a shower. I was in the shower for 20-30 minutes.
I did my makeup and started getting dressed. I went to my closet and all I could say was, "yuck." I don't know to wear, luckily I remember that Austin took me on a shopping spree couple days ago. So I decided to choose an outfit from which he bought me.

It was already 7:30 am and I decided to start heading to school.

While I was driving to school I was at a red light and a black mustang pulled right next to me. The mustang was pretty messed up. As if the person had crashed. I saw that the shadow was facing me, basically looking at me. I couldn't tell who it looked pretty dark inside the car. Suddenly they pulled the window down.

"Well hello there Becky. How's your boyfriend ?" Jake chuckled.

It was Jake. What an asshole. Like I seriously don't get why the heck he would get Austin into a car crash. I get that he likes me and is jealous but besides that, why would he even.

The light turned green and I didn't even answer his question. I rolled my eyes and drove away. I saw him laugh before I started driving off.

I got to school and went to get my items for first period. While I was opening the locker I saw a note attached to the locker door. I opened the note and it said, "Remember to meet me at the courtyard. -Austin"

I had totally forgot about it. I started walking to the courtyard, while I was walking I bumped into Jake.

"um, excuse me ?" I say in an annoyed voice.
"I need to talk to you." Jake says.
"Oh, so first you laugh that Austin gets into a car crash with you. Which is caused by you. We have nothing to talk about. Just leave me alone already. I actually thought we could just be friends but apparently that isn't working well for you." I argue and I start walking away.

I've had enough of him. I just want him to leave me alone. Jake should at least be happy that I'm with Austin and he's making me happy.

I saw Austin and I walk up to him.

"Sweetheart, what's wrong ? Are you okay ?" Austin asks.
"Yes, I'm okay. What makes you think that I'm not?" I say.
"You look like you just finished snapping on someone." He laughs softly.
"Psh,no." I say and look down. I kinda lied and I hate lying, I'm bad at it anyway.
"Okay, fine. It's just Jake. You were right, he was the one that caused the car crash." I said in a low voice.
"That's is what I need to talk to you about. Plus, how do you know it was actually him who caused it ?" Austin added.

I told Austin of what had happened this morning while I was driving to school and how his car was all wrecked.

"Did you talk to him?" Austin asked.
"No. But I bumped into him on my way here to the courtyard." I said.

I told Austin what happened when I bumped into him on my way to the courtyard.

"What an ass. He's gonna pay back." Austin exploded.
"Austin please don't, I don't want you getting hurt again." I exclaim.

Austin doesn't say anything, he gets closer to me and hugs me tight. So tight that he fixes all my broken pieces.
