"What about this" Caroline held up a white off the shoulder top and a black skirt "perfect" Lydia nodded "and this is mine" Lydia held up a blue dress and then a grey white and black one "perfect" Caroline smiled at her strawberry blonde best friend.
The girls had it back to Lydia's house and were setting up decorations "I hate decorating and I'm horrible at it" Caroline complained "just sit down and watch failure to launch" Lydia sighed "yay" Caroline plopped down on the couch and wrapped a blanket around herself.
Stiles and Scott and everyone showed up with presents, Caroline and Lydia were handing out drinks and dancing with each other,
in the other room Alison was talking to Scott "I know we just met and all but I feel like we have a connection and we could be something" Alison confessed to the confused boy "Alison no offence or anything but umm we've had like only one conversation and I sorta like someone else" Scott stumbled over his words trying to let the girl down gently "oh" Alison laughed nervously "that's no problem, who do you like? Maybe i could help you with them" Alison suggested "oh! It's ugh Caroline" Scott smiled goofily "that's great scott listen I gotta go home my dad is expecting me" Alison said goodbye and drove to her house when she got in her house she was a wreck "it's not fair" she muttered over and over pacing back and forth, suddenly she was blinded by rage and threw everything off her desk tore pictures off her walls and screamed into her pillow.
Lydia Stiles and Caroline were searching for Scott after he ran from the party because of the full moon "let's split up" Care suggests "have you ever seen a horror movie? You don't split up" Stiles waved his hands in the air "it'll be fine stiles I'm going this way" Caroline told her brother "famous last words care famous last words" he called after his sister not knowing just how right his words were.
Caroline was walking through the forest "Scott" she hissed quietly receiving no answer,
looking up at the stars she was momentarily stunned at how beautiful they were, she smiled remembering the times when her and her mom would sit outside when she had a bad dream and look at the stars for hours on end. Caroline felt a blinding pain in the back of her head and everything went black.
