Chapter 1

Maddie's POV:
Today is September 7th, second week of school. I am now in high school, 9th grade at Franklin Regional high school. I have a major crush on Joshua Hyland aka Josh, Paige's brother and also, I think he's very hot and cute! But there is one thing. I think Josh likes Chloe over me and it's obvious Paige wants them to be hooked up! But it's not fair... I mean they are twinnies and I don't mind at all but Paige thinks Josh and Chloe would be so perfect together and of course Chloe and Josh both loves each other, but I think I'd look better with Josh! But I guess that's another one point for slutty Chloe.

"Ding dong!" The bell rang and I'm pretty sure but Kenzie or mom got the door.

"Hello. Uh is Maddie here?" A familiar voice asked which belonged to my boy friend, Gino. "Yep! In her room..." Kenzie stated. "Thanks kenz!" He said and I ran to my room mirror and checked if I looked good.

"Knock. Knock." He knocked. "Come in!" I yelled and he came in. "Uhh..." He started and I nodded sadly.

Gino's POV:
I was going to break up with her until I saw her right now. She looked flawless with her white crop top and high waisted shorts.

"Uhh..." I started and she nodded sadly in response to move on. "I actually.... No. Never mind Maddie." I gave her a big smile and she looked confused and looked at the ground. "You know Gino? I could see you straight through that you were going to break up with me..." She started and I saw a single tear rolling down her cheek. "No Maddie. I love you!" I said trying to go hug her. "No you don't!" She yelled pushing me hard enough for me to stumble over. "I.... I lov... Love you mads! Please let me explain..." I stuttered. "No explaining! We are over! Or I mean you broke up with me!" She said stomping and going down stairs.

I followed her down the stair way and saw her going up to her mom, Melissa.

"Mom! Gino came and broke up with me! But he didn't say so! I just saw him straight through! Can you believe it?" She said now crying and grasping for air. "Maddie, don't worry there are so many different guys in this world you can be with... He's just the first one and you'll be over him in just a bit. Okay? Now go and show him how strong you are!" Melissa said probably making Maddie smile now but making me frown. "Thanks mom!" She said cheery.

She walked over to me and pinched me and yelled "Get out of my house! No one likes you!" And I jumped up in surprise.

I went out the door and had to walk home, but I couldn't because my house was 20 minutes far and I didn't have the guts to keep on walking on the street while crying even if I wasn't crying yet. Then I just had an idea and walked up the porch of my very best friend Josh Hyland's house which is on the way from Maddie's house to my house.

"Ding dong! ding dong!" The bell rung and Paige, Josh's sister jumped out of the door. "Hey Gi!" She said waving and I waved back. "Here for Josh?" She questioned and smiled while I just nodded. "Come in!" She said in a happy tone. She was ALWAYS happy and it made me happy too sometimes.

"Yo! Gino!" Josh came out of sight. "Hey Josh!" I gave a fake smile because I wasn't actually happy. "Buddy? You okay? What happened to you? You seem... Depressed." Josh stated patting my back and motioning me to sit on the couch with him. I actually could tell him because everyone knows that he likes Chloe. "Umm Maddiemoo broke up with me..." I lied. "No she did not Gino. I know she wouldn't! She loved you so much it was unbelievable!" He said frowning and he knew something was fishy. "Okay, okay! I was going to break up with-" I started but he cut me off. "You what to my dream girl friend?!" "Huh? You like Chloe... Not Maddie." I said confused. "Oh yeah I thought you were talking about Chlobird... Haha I don't even know... But why did you break up with MaddieMoo!?" He said yelling. "Because she wasn't right for me!" I started yelling too. "Why the f*** did you break up with my best friend?! You idiot! You probably would let her suicide and die! Do you want her to die? Huh? Because I think she deserves more than what you give her! She deserves so much more! She deserved a better everything from you! You took her away from me as a best friend and now you do this to her? That's just so depressing bro!" And he motioned me to leave. And I nodded and put my hood on and left

I went out feeling worse than before and started walking the way to home.

I finally got home 12 minutes after and just laid in my bed thinking what I can do to get Maddie back. But I had zero ideas and I just stared at the ceiling.
