"Excuse me? I haven't changed a bit."

Draco walked in, and Nat immediately turned her barstool back to the counter thinking, Why the hell is he here?
Surprisingly, Draco took the spot next to Nat's, where Theo had been minutes ago. Nat turned the other way.
"Hey, Nat."
"Don't call me that." She whispered, still facing away from him.
"Listen, I'm really sorry for being a Uhm,"
She spun her chair around to him. "A spoiled, ignorant, selfish, brat!" She yelled, and that made people around her glance at them, but she ignored them.
"Yes..."
"Did somebody put you up to this-"
"No!" He said, and he took a deep breath. "Wow, you've changed so much..."
"Excuse me? I haven't changed a bit."
"You're tough, up-front, and confident."
"Listen here, you don't get to say how I've changed-"
"Nat, I knew you for the first 5 years of your life. You used to be so shy, squirmish and.. whoa, you changed your hair too." He half-whispered. Nat rolled her eyes.
"Yeah, did you just now notice that?" Nat said. "Besides, my hair was one of the things I had from them. Also, stop acting like my-" she was about to say her parents, but she didn't have any. And the ones she did have to refuse to raise her. She looked down.
"I'm sorry," Draco said, though they both know he had nothing to do with her parents refusing to take care of her.
"It's ok. Just sometimes I feel so lost and alone. Like it's just me." Nat said, and she was almost, almost, about to shed a tear, but she held it back. "You have me," Draco said. "Yeah, but when you ignored and laughed about me, I felt all alone. Especially after I had to leave you. Draco, you didn't even to write me." Now, she sounded like she was about to cry, and she did shed a little tear.
"I know. I was being a horrible person. I felt all alone too. Sometimes, I felt betrayed, even though you didn't want to move. So I didn't write to you." Draco said, and Nat just looked down.
"I'm sorry," He said for the second time.
She looked back up.
"It's ok, Draco, really. I just need a little space." He nodded.

The following week went by speedy, and quidditch tryouts were actually at the end of the week, and Natalie told Harry she wanted to try out. He looked a little surprised at first, didn't think she would bring it up so last-minute, but then just went on with his day.
Natalie had some natural talent from somewhere, (even though she had never played quidditch before) and secured a spot as a Keeper.
Fall went by fast, and before she knew it, it was the week before Winter break. And boy, the week went by slowly. Though, thankfully one of her classes was canceled last minute. Rumors went around saying a big fight had happened. Natalie didn't care, she was just happy to finally get some free time. Because between quidditch tryouts and constantly getting more and more homework and getting ready for the N.E.W.T.S., well, it was a lot.
So, Natalie went to the library. Back when Natalie lived in the Malfoy Manor, she had spent most of her time (when she wasn't playing with Draco) reading in their enormous library that was actually mostly for decoration that nobody really used except for her. You see, Nat was a very intelligent child.
Then, suddenly, someone bumped her shoulder.
"Hey." He said, and he took a seat right next to her at the table. She suddenly recognized him as the boy who had originally tried to sit with her in her first potions class. She smiled.
"You know, I wasn't actually weirdly interested in you like the other Ravenclaws." She laughed at that part. "I actually wanted to get to know you. Surprisingly, I'm kind. If I wasn't a Ravenclaw, I'd probably be a Hufflepuff." She smiled. For some reason, she felt the weird feeling of being watched by Theo, but she ignored it.
Then, suddenly Valerie came over and sat on the spot next to her, holding a textbook. Valerie flashed a smile. "Hey, whatcha doing?" She whispered. "Nothing really, you?" Nat said. "Just working on some History homework" rolled her eyes and Nat and- well, whatever his name was, giggled.
"You know, I used to read textbooks for fun," Nat said, and Valerie looked a mix of shocked, confusion, and concern at that moment which Nat didn't even know was possible. The other boy just laughed.
