SHIRO: the tale of a children of the gods

Once upon a time, on a distant island, a little girl was born. Her skin was pale like snow, and her eyes as blue as a crystal. "I can't believe you had a daughter with a human...She can't stay here, what are we going to do?" an unknown god said, angry. The little girl was an accident, and wasn't even supposed to exist. "Please, don't kill her!" the mother screamed with her daughter in her arms "we can do something else!". "The only thing we can do is send her to Teyvat" The unknown God said. The mother was devastated, she didn't want to leave her beloved child but there was nothing she could do, she was aware of the consequences of having that baby since she found out about her pregnancy. She had to choose to stay away from her and hope she could survive. She took her to the gateway, and sadly said: "I'll find someone kind to take care of her. I wont risk sending her alone".  The unknown God agreed, and then the mother floated down Celestia. She got so distracted while thinking about what was going to happen to her daughter that she ended up going way too far. She recognized that place, it was Inazuma. "She'll be safe here, far from Celestia" she thought, and started looking for someone.

 After a few minutes, she saw a couple at a simple house. Just by looking at them, she knew they were kind and so she decided to trust them her baby. She stopped floating right behind them and said:

- Greetings, kind couple 

They looked back and at first they got scared. They knew she was a Godess just by looking at her clothes - and also for the fact that she was floating -  and thought they did something bad

- H-hello, your exellency - Keisuke said while doing a reverence - Can we help with something?

- I see you're scared... Please, don't be intimidated by my presence, there's no need - She said as she looked at them with a gentle smile on her face

Keisuke and Saburou looked at each other and felt reliefed

- Can we help? - Saburou asked

- Well, I want to ask you a favor... - She said while she showed her baby for them - This is my daughter

- What a beautiful little girl! - Keisuke said while she looked at the baby calmly sleeping

- I want you both to take care of her from now on. Can you?

Keisuke and Saburou looked at eachother with her eyes widened, did they heard that right? She's asking them to raise her child?

- I-I'm sorry, your exellency, did I heard that right? You want us to take care of your baby?

- Yes, exactly. I can't say much, but she can't be in Celestia. If I don't find someone to take care of her, the Gods will kill her... - She said as some tears appeared in her eyes - I love my daughter, and I want her to grow and have a good life. At the moment I saw you both, i could feel your kindness. I know I won't regret giving her to you

Keisuke was still shocked, but she knew what to do. She touched her husband's shoulder and looked at him with a "let's keep her" face. He understood what she meant, and turned again at the godess

- Your exellency, it will a pleasure to raise this child. We gladly thank you for trusting her to us, and we promise we will give her the best life she can have

The Godess felt like crying by hearing those words, she was so lucky to find a so kind couple. She gave them her daughter and Keiuske held her in her arms

- I have to go now, thank you so much - the goddes said as she began to float again

- It's our pleasure - Keisuke said smiling

The Godess kissed her daughter's forehead one last time and quickly started to fly back to Celestia, holding herself so she wouldn't cry. "This is the best for her, now she won't die anymore and will have amazing new parents". Meanwhile, Saburou was screaming, trying to make the Godess hear him

- Wait!! You didn't tell us her name! - She screamed one last time, but realized she was too far to hear him

-Shiro - Keisuke said

- What?

- Her name. Shiro. What do you think? - she said smiling at the baby - She's pale and have a light hair. Shiro would be a good name..

- Well, since her mother didn't told us her name... - He said while looking at the little girl. Then, she opened her eyes and the couple got amazed. She had the most beautiful pair of blue eyes they ever saw.  - Hello, little Shiro

He said, and then the baby laughed. They looked at each other and smiled again. "I think she likes it", they thought. They came back home and started preparing everything for the baby. Saburou started to get some wood to make her a cradle and Keisuke was only playing with her. Their life was about to have a big change, and they were really nervous. Now, they were raising a children of the gods. It wouldn't be easy, but they were really excited to see that little girl growing up.
