SHIRO: the tale of a children of the gods

One year after Shiro found out about her possible origins, she was ready to go to Mondstadt. She would sneak into a ship going to Liyue, and then travel to Mondstadt.On the night of her departure, she was finishing packing her essential stuff when she heard a knock on her door

- Get in

and then, Saburou entered the room. He looked at his daughter and she was completely unrecognizable, he haven't seen her dressed like that in a long time. She had a bun at the top of her head and her hair was tied at the lower part, she was also wearing a beautiful short kimono with long socks who reached her tights. Over it all, Shiro also wore a long cape that reached tuntil her heels. She was gorgeous, and exuded confidence.

- Hi dad. What is it? - she asked

- Oh, nothing... I just want to check if everything is okay

- Yes, sure! The ship will be leaving in an hour or so, and I just finished checking if I packed everything I need

- How much time are you planning to stay in Mondstadt?

Shiro kept quiet. She was excited to start her research, but remembering she would be far from her parents for a long time still made her feel sad.

- Uhm, I don't know... maybe some years

- Shiro, honey... Come here

Saburou said, sitting on her bed and putting his hand on the empty place by his side. Them Shiro walked there and sat near him. He held Shiro's hand, looked her in the eyes and said:

- You know me and your mother trust you, right?

- Of course I do

- but anyway, please be careful. You're going to a place you don't know anyone or anything, so promise me you'll take care of yourself, okay?

Shiro held her father's hand and smiled at him

- I promise, father, and i swear i'll always come back to visit you when I have some free time

Saburou smiled at her and they hugged, he was so proud of seeing her daughter finally making her own decisions and starting her life on her own. He started stoking her hair like he used to do when she was younger. Shiro used to lay her head on his lap and only enjoy the time passing by in silence, a comfortable silence. 

- by the way, you're stunning, sweetie - he said, kissing her forehead

- Thanks, dad... I feel a bit weird, but still pretty

They laughed, and then Keisuke entered the room. When they saw them both sitting on bed hugging each other, she smiled

- I'm getting jealous, why ony your father is getting hugs? 

- Come on, mom! 

Shiro said reaching her arm to her mother, who came closer and hugged both of them. It's been a long time since they last had a family moment like this. it was comfy,  and Shiro would easily stay that way forever but something snapped her off her thoughts

- Mom, dad... It's time to go - she sadly said while she looked at the clock on the wall

- You're right... - Keisuke said, getting up - We can risk losing the ship

She smiled at her daughter and they all got up. Saburou and keisuke accompanied Shiro close to the port, and now it was the time to say goodbye. Shiro was scared, she almost couldn't believe she was really leaving Inazuma

- Mom, dad... - Shiro said, looking at them - I'm... I'm scared..

- Don't be, honey - Keisuke said, putting her hand on Shiro's cheek - You're a brave girl, and you've been planning this for a whole year. I'm sure everything will be fine

- Your mother is right, I know you will be successfull on your research. Now, go on, you can't miss the ship - Saburou said

Shiro nodded and hugged them one more time. She put on her cape hood and started running closer to the ship. Then she suddenly stopped, and stayed like that for a few moments. Then, she ran back to her parents and hugged them one more time. She was sad they couldn't go with her, but at the same time she knew it was the best for them. They were too old to face a dangerous sea like that. They couldn't help but cry, but Shiro couldn't lose more time.

- I love you both - She said

- We love you too, Shiro

Saburou said, and wiped her tears with his thumb. They gave her a last kiss on her cheek and then Shiro ran again, but this time not looking back. Arriving at the principal point of Inazuma port, she hid behind a big wooden box and started looking around. When she saw the ship, she knwe it was about to sail any second, just like he expected. She was ready to start her infiltration plan.

She waited until the anchor was lifted, and when the ship started to move she got behind the box and carefully walked around so people wouldn't see her. She stopped, took a deep breath and prepared herself. Without hesitation, she ran straight into the ocean and jumped in it. When her feet touched the water, it froze and she could run to the ship. When she got close enough, she created an ice ladder and quickly jumped into a window at the ship's basement. Her plan was a total success, she wanted to scream in joy. The only thing she had do now was be careful so no one would find her. She looked one last time at Inazuma, and then her eyes widened: She could see her parents looking at the ship. They saw her going in there? were they proud? Shiro didn't say anything, she just smiled and started to cry. Shiro hid behind some boxes and decided to get some rest, the next day would be full of new things to do and she would need a lot of energy. She took off her cape and sat next to a wall. She used her cape as a blanket, and after a few minutes she fell asleep
