The window slowly shuts and about five minutes later it reopens and Ember climbs through. They both climb onto their bikes and start traveling to the train station, only about ten to twenty minutes away. They pass by many dark houses and street lights that are lighting up the very dark streets. Making their way past the small market and most of the now-closed shops. Finally, twenty-four minutes later they arrive at the train station.
They both get off their bikes and put them on the Bike racks, both going to scan their train passes and wait on the small green bench outside for the train to arrive. After another maybe twenty to thirty minutes the train arrived in a very loud and screeching manner. They get on the train looking for two seats. On the first train car, a lady was sitting by herself with sunglasses that had one lens. Questioning the lady's fashion choice the two girls moved on to the second train car where in the back was a whistling man who carried a cane. There were also two empty seats in front of the man, so the two girls were prompted to sit. Charlotte took the seat next to the window and started looking out it. As Ember started to sit down the man behind them began to talk.
"You dropped this young lady," the old man said, grabbing Ember's phone off the floor and handing it back to Ember.
"Thank you, sir," Ember said looking at the man and also noticing there was a dog with him in the seat next to him with a strange box collar.
She then turned around and sat down in the seat next to Charlotte. Not fully aware of where they were going, Charlotte fell asleep just about as instantly as she sat down. Ember looked over at the now-sleeping Charlotte and gave a little chuckle. After about an hour of the train clanking on the tracks, Ember suddenly felt an overwhelming comfortable feeling. This gush also awoke a very confused Charlotte. When she awoke she looked out the window wondering just how far the train had gone. She saw what she had never seen before. Magic particles were flying everywhere and there were so many people. Her overwhelming excitement was quickly cut short when the man behind them started to talk. Or was it the old man?
"Oh it feels so good to be back," the dog says, speaking through his collar.
"I'm very surprised we tracked down the only train to this dimension. At least we won't have to deal with those people for another ten thousand years" the old man said, stretching.
"Yeah, you're right Lang, it will be like a vacation from now on. Maybe we might even get rich." the dog says again, chuckling with the old man beside him.
It takes Charlotte a few seconds to realize that she didn't think they were in the exact middle of nowhere they were yesterday. She looks over to see a very much so concerned Ember trying to look at a map on her phone trying to figure out where they are. But she seemed very puzzled when her phone doesn't work. Still wondering how they traveled to another planet or maybe a different universe in just a few hours, they both looked at each other with a very shocked and concerned looks on their faces. They felt like they had a golden ticket to a new dimension. What had they gotten themselves into?
As the train slows down and the two are giving each other very confused looks. The old man behind them and his talking dog began to get up and exit the train. The two girls followed shortly after. Unsure of where they were both girls were clinging to each other's sides not trying to believe that what they were looking at was real. The future was defiantly uncertain but not as uncertain as this. How on earth did two innocent young girls take a train to the future, past, or maybe even some unearthly place where they could get eaten by a dinosaur? All of those possibilities were very unlikely except that where they were standing was not like anywhere they had been before.
