Keith POV
I watched from my suv as she cried in the car. She had left her clutch in the chair beside her in a hurry to get away from me. I paid for my food and followed her out just in time to yell out her name. She stopped and turned my direction. I didn't want to spook her any further. I gave her back her clutch. I had slipped my business card through the clamps. I didn't want to appear as going through her things. I had written my personal cell on the back of the card.

I turned and walked away. Wally pulled the car around to me as I crossed the parking lot. He asked our next destination and I told him to kill the engine. I wanted to make sure she left without a problem. When she would leave, I could be at ease. She sat in the car crying for twenty minutes. I was tempted to go to her and comfort her. I realized I set her off and it was the only thing stopping me. She came out for a night alone and I reminded her of the jackass who she gave herself to and married. How could he divorce her and then try to take their son from her? I knew there was more to the story, but I wanted to protect her like her son.

I told Wally to tail her from afar. Once she turned on a residential road, I told him to take me home. I asked my lawyer to pull everything he had on her, but then I called again and cancelled. If she was going to trust me, I couldn't dig through her life against her will.

I couldn't get the image of her out of my head. She was so beautiful. I smelled the perfume she was wearing. It was light and soft. I couldn't take my eyes off of her. She sat alone and I knew I had to go over and introduce myself. Once I got to her table, my words left me. I stood there until she turned around and noticed I was there. However, once she noticed me, my words found me again.

Paparazzi had gotten photos of us. I had my PR team get them removed from every where before she realized they were all over the place. My lawyer handled the legality of the situation. The employee who gave away my location was reprimanded as well. I don't know why I'm drawn to Elissa. After two failed marriages and my days of sleeping around, I found peace just looking at her.

Elissa POV

I got home and showered. What was I thinking I could go out and have a normal night to myself? I sent Ezra his nightly message and pulled the covers back on my bed. I grabbed my Ipad, knocking over my clutch. I noticed a card on the floor as I picked up my things. I flipped it over examining it carefully. I noticed a cell number on it with the name Keith above it. He some how had gotten his card in my clutch. Must've been when he was bringing it out to me.

I collected my things from the floor and put them back in my clutch. I lingered on the card with Keith's number on it. I got into my bed, placing the card on my nightstand. I continued looking at the design patterns from earlier.

At some point I dozed off, dreaming.

I could smell his cologne again. It was drawing me near to him. I found myself in his arms. He was whispering sweet nothings in my ear. I was melting in his embrace. Just as he was about to kiss me, my alarm went off pulling me from the dream.

I took a cold shower and got dressed for today. I was heading into my shop to get the designs to the decorator. I finally decided this morning to go with a business formal design. I wanted to put my computer technologies degree to use as well as do hair. So four days of doing hair the other three, computer technologies. No one had ever ventured between the two before, I wanted to be the first.

After meeting with the decorator, I went to a coffee shop just down the way a little. I ordered a mocha frappe and took the window seat. I pulled out my Ipad and answered a few emails. My phone pinged, alerting me to a new message. I pulled my phone out to see that Pia had agreed to the week in the Bahamas with me. Hannah couldn't get away from her modeling gig, so it would be the two of us. I told Hannah it was okay and wished her well on her journey.
