Chapter 1

Welcome to Chapter 1!

"Here! This is where you're going to attend your class for this school year. Since you're a transfer student, you don't have to wear your uniform for now. Do you have any questions?"  the teacher asked the transfer student.

"If none, go inside and introduce yourself to your classmates okay?"

"Hmm..."  that was the only response the teacher got as he sighed softly to the thought that the new student is shy.

Creak~~~

The door opens revealing the students waiting for the new student.

"Stand up everyone! Goodmorning Mr. Santiago." a student said. To the way he talks, it looks like he's the president of the class.

"Goodmorning new student. Welcome to Leticia University. We are the Grade 10 Class 1 welcoming you. Thank you for choosing our school. Hope you have a happy and peaceful school year." the president continued as the class clapped welcoming the new student.

For someone who just transferred, it would already bring you happiness just to be welcomed by these students. But not for the new student.

The clapping stopped and students of Class 1 are waiting for the new student to respond. But what's funny is that she responded with...

"Can I move to the last section?" she said looking directly to Mr. Santiago's eyes. Without any reaction to the welcoming speech by the Class 1 students.

"W-what? Are you uhm-- uncomfortable by the welcoming speech or anything?" Mr. Santiago stutters as he doesn't know how to react by the sudden response.

"No. I just don't want here. So??? Can I move to the last section?"

"What?! Hey! If we made you uncomfortable, just tell us. But for you to make a trouble on the first day of school and  Mr. Santiago, it's irritating and unmannerly. And you are listed to the class 1 which is where only smart students belong and you wanted to move to the lowest section?!" the president got angry and said something that made the new student angry.

"Watch your mouth Mr. I don't know and I don't care who you are!  I said LAST... section because it is the last section in grade 10 not the LOWEST. Treating them low when they are also students in here who are paying for their tuition fees."

"What are you saying?! They are in the lowest section because they are always making troubles in this University but no one can't make them leave since they are paying. So what's wrong with telling you the truth huh?!"

"LAST! This is my last warning you idiot!" she glared to that guy as she walked through the door and slammed it making the students jump in shock and making the teacher follow her.

"Hey? I'm sorry that my student acted like that. But you can't move to the lowest section okay? Those guys only make troubles and not smart. You are smart since you are listed for Section 1 so just go back and I will not tell the Principal about this."

The new student stopped walking. She can't take it anymore as she listened to Mr. Santiago's humiliating words.

"Mr. Santiago. Are you finished?"

"I--uhm---

The teacher couldn't finish his sentence as the student opened the door of the last section.

"Goodmorning Mr. Perez and students of Leticia University Grade 10 Class 9. I...Leticia M. Shio, not my full name, asking for permission to be move here from Grade 10 Class 1." she bowed making the teachers shocked as well as the students of class 9.
