There was a robot watching him.
"Um, Genos... could you stop staring at me please...?"
"Right, please excuse my impudent behavior, Master."
"Uh.... right."
About a week ago, he'd saved this cyborg named Genos from this lady mosquito monster thing. A day later the guy came by his apartment and asked to be his pupil. He was going to say no but he had offered to pay rent so how could he refuse? Being broke isn't easy and desperate times come for desperate measures.
Although, together they had defeated this big organization called the House of Evergreen Trees..... or something like that anyway.
"Oh." He hadn't even realized that he had finished his manga. The series was called Mob Psycho 10000, it was really good, he'd been reading it for years now.
The bald man started to get up, but Genos quickly snatched the book out of his hand.
"Allow me to do that for you, sir." he said with a bow.
"...Thanks I guess..."
That was one thing about Genos. He was quite.... well.. helpful was one way to put it. He'd always do everything for him. Clean the house, get him things, hell, he'd even tried to bathe him once. When he kept insisting he yelled out "I'm into women!" which made him quite embarrassed to say the least.
The man got up from his spot on the floor. "I'm going shopping. There's a sale at the grocery store today."
"Allow me to come with you, Master! Perhaps I will learn something!"
That was another thing about Genos. He desperately wanted to know how to achieve strength, so he studied his every move, jotting a bunch of notes down every time he made even the slightest of movements. Even when the things he did had nothing to do with hero stuff, Genos would take note of it. Why? He had already told him how he had gained his strength. All the cyborg would need to do is do what he did for three years to achieve the same results, right?
"....Ah yeah, sure Genos you can come too."
"Thank you, Master!"
"I told you, just call me Saitama."
"Of course, Master Saitama!"
