Chapter 0 1/2 - Another Chance

A girl shook her upper body up, now coughing. *A someone chuckled through the camera in the empty, dark room*
The leaf finally opened her eyes for the second time, she was dumbfounded, and scared where she was at. "H-Hello-? Anyone?" She tried calling for someone, an explanation, but no one was there. She called out again, and again, and aga- a furious migraine went through her head. "hHHRgH-!" She held onto it tightly, crouching until her head was only a few inches from the gray floor. And then...
She remembered.
"...I...I-I thought-..the Island- I thought- No, the sign told me to-" the realization clicked her head. "...It was a lie, wasn't it?" said the leaf, looking to the floor with self-doubt "The stupid sign- that I walked through- hoping something good would happen to me this time- I was wrong- I-I should've known! Stupid Leafy, stupid!" She palmed her head hard, at least 2 times. She sighed in anger, not allowing herself to hurt herself more because of the stupid migraine. She held her legs to her chest with her arms, letting her head rest to the cold wall, on the cold floor, alone. So, many, thoughts passed her mind in those 5 minutes. As she thought she'll be here forever, a hatch, flawless to see, opened, and came down with the megaphone. The leaf whipped her head, seeing the speaker while wiping her tears away. The megaphone begin to speak with static,
"HELLO THERE, LEAFY! I'M GLAD TO SEE YOU HERE!" a weird, but friendly voice spoke through. She had her eyes widened, seeking to get help, she blinked a few times realizing the one knows her name "I-Is there gonna be help? Am I gonna get sa-a-afe!" the leaf laughed at the last part, for relief. The megaphone was silent for a few seconds before it statics "Well, kinda! After all, since I've finally captured you, and as well as other 'familiar' people, it's time to start the game!" the leaf's smile turned upside down hearing what it said, confused and nervous "A- h-huh?"
"I hope you like falling!"
"What-?!" as soon as the leaf screeched, the room disappeared. The room literally disappeared, and she was in the sky, moments before falling to what it looks like a forest, but with an almost perfectly round treeless area. She screamed, hoping this is not the last she'll hear her voice. At her fall, there were colorful figures at the ground she could see from the sky, the closer she gets, the figures started to get familiar, way more familiar. Before she could think, her body has met to the ground, although she is hurt, she had no injuring after the fall. Pushing herself up, she heard the so familiar gasps. She stood up, now getting to see the people not from the sky, although she was nervous seeing some angered faces towards her, she forced a smile "H-Hey guys! Nice to see y'all again huh?" it was an amazing conversation starter, but unfortunately no one said a word and looked at the leaf again. The forced smile is still open, not allowing herself to be seen hurt in front of everyone, including some people talking bad about her. Towards everyone, there was a stage, including two megaphones on each side, it looks like they're waiting. Finally, the static sound appears
"Oh how lovely! The good old contestants are back! I just can't wait to host with you today! and I hope you do too!"
Everyone turned to the stage, dumbfounded. A white, dimpled ball spoke up "Technically you forced us to here, so no, i'm not glad i'm here, and i'm sure everybody's not glad aswell!" she stood beside the greenish-yellow ball who's two and half times larger than her, the larger seemed to agree with the smaller. Soon a pale colored wood spoke up "Okay, like, I agree with her okay? You did not, like, had my permission to kidnap me?" she put her hands to her hips, making a hmph sound.
"Well well well we already have some doubtful people, but don't worry! I'll try my best to make this game a fun and happy place for you all"
"I should introduce to myself if I want you to trust me..." the speaker spoke through. Moments later, a figure, two figures appeared out of nowhere on stage, showing a blue four like figure and a yellow x like figure. People jumped and yelped at the sudden appearance. The four figure stood happy, tapping on the microphone "Now then! My name is Four and I am your host! And this is my co-host x!" he introduced the small figure who smiled and waved "He'll be our happy assistant as of for now." Four looked to everyone under him "Now then, i'm 100 percent sure almost all of you know each other! The original BFDI contestants and also the BFDIA contestants?" The figure looked at the people who are looking at each other and looked back at him, scared, mad, just confused. The figure only laughed "And now you are finally here today! Welcome, to Battle for Redemption!".
