mgm * yawn* I wake up to the captain on the intercom "Good morning passengers this is the captain speaking, I would like to tell you all we are about 10 mins away from Heathrow Airport in London"
wow. just ten more minutes till I'm home.
*10 min pass skip* everyone gets off the plane and started heading to baggage claim. (forget TSA, it doesn't exist lol)
I look around searching for my luggage when I spot it near a fountain by the baggage claim. I start to head towards it when I accidentally trip and crash into someone.
*thump*
Hope POV

(A/N: For context, there isn't a line for baggage claim so it's just a big group of people shoving and pushing. Hope is from London but they are moving near Eastfox.)
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry about that," someone said, I turned around and saw a pretty girl roughly around my age wearing a light green dress kneeling down behind me holding a handbag and desperately trying to pick up her things. "oh here let me help," I say, she looks up at me and gives me a small smile and says thank you with a chuckle. I begin to hand her back her things when I notice an American flag tag on her handbag. " You from America?" I ask.
"hm? Oh yes, I am, north Carolina actually" she says
"And you are from here I presume" she jokes
"yes, ma'am *chuckle*".
"So what brings you here to London?" I ask
"I'm moving here actually," she says.
"Oh really? wow you seem pretty young to move out here" I say
"*chuckles* well actually yeah I'm only 16 but my family has already paid for my things and home," she says
"Oh wow that's amazing, I'm also 16," I tell her
"Where are you moving to?" I ask
"Oh, the countryside, by a village," she says
"Oh really? I'm also moving around the countryside" I say
"What's the name of the village?" I ask
"Eastfox village," she says
"ha. sounds like something you'd hear in a fairytale" I say
"funny enough I'm actually moving a block away from Eastfox " I say
"Oh, that's great! I'd love to have a friend around" she says
*We get interrupted by another person on the intercoms -' I swear if I have to hear one more person on the intercoms in going to pitch a fit- "Attention everyone heading to east fox village, shuttle boarding now"
"We should get going," I say
*time skip*

* Jayden and hope both arrive at the village and they start to walk around*
"wow, I can't believe I'm home," Jayden says quietly under her breath
"the village looks a lot bigger than I expected," I say
"Yeah, it does," she says
"Hey, I didn't ask for your name?" I ask, trying to be polite
" oh either did I, I'm Jayden"
"Hope. This uh might be an odd question but do you have any preferred pronouns?" I ask
"Oh it's not odd at all, I go by They/Them. You?"
" Should we head to your house?" I ask
" yeah, I've got a small handmade map of where my house is" she says

"It shows that the house should be a few stores away," she says
" I should be able to walk myself, you should be heading to your house as well, I don't want to keep you from having a good rest," she says
" Oh it's ok I don't mind. Plus it's nice to have someone to talk to and hang out with" I say
"No really, you should go get some rest we can meet up at 5:30," she says
" Are you sure you know the way?" I ask
"yeah I'm sure, here have my address so if you need me you can send a parcel" she replies
" alright, get home save ok? I will make sure to send you a parcel, I'll see you later" I say
"I will thank you, I'll be waiting for your letter haha" she says chuckling
