JENNIE POV
I'm the new CEO of my father's company.
Because he thought it was time to retire and let the new generation take over. I called all the workers in a meeting.
"Boss, they're all waiting" my secretary said and i nodded.
I stood up from my office chair and walked towards the door. As i walked in, chatter died down and all the eyes fell on me.
"Good afternoon gentlemen" I smiled,softly.
They all looked confused as they watched me sit at the head of the table.
"What's going on?" One of the men spoke.
"I'm sure that you've heard that the new CEO has retired" I spoke slowly and they all nodded." And the role has been passed down to me"
Some of them nodded but others grew anger.
"Are u kidding? A they're going to have a women run the biggest company in the world" he scoffed.
"Speak only when spoken to" I snapped.
He scoffed again." Listen women you don't-"
Suddenly the door was slammed open and a gunshot was heard.
"Like my wife said, speak only when spoken to"
I looked over to the door and there stood my husband with a grand smirk on her face.
