Slowly He approach her bruise and start licking it. Many dragons had special salivas, and with Dogo it was no different as he had small healing portions. It wouldn't get better overnight, but it would do.
The princess cringe at the feeling but also a bit taken back. "thank you." She spoke
"Don't thank me yet. It will take time for the wound to close" He looked out of the cave, seeing the rain still falling "It won't be possible to do anything in this rain. Better wait until it pass."
"If I stay here you won't eat me right..?" She says her voice small almost a whisper
He give a slight huff, almost as if He heard an insult "If I wanted to eat you I wouldn't have healed you, would i?" He says going back to his pile of gold
I raises an eyebrow and crosses her arms over her chest "Well what the hell am I supposed to do while I wait??" She asked her confidence coming back.
"I don't know, I don't care" He replied burying himself in his gold like sand, resting his head on the ground, eyes closing.
She pierced her lips in a thin line rolling her eyes. She sat against the wall pulling her legs closer to herself resting her elbow on her knee and her head in her hands.
He closes his eyes, concentrating. Suddenly the same sparks as before appear, this time being carried by the gold passing from him back to the pile and then back to him. The princess raises an eyebrow the sparks catching her eye.
what kind of dragon is he?
She asked herself. She sits up straight her eyes fixated on the dragon and his beautiful black scales.
He opens his eye, feeling someone staring "Need something?"
A blush spread across the princesses cheeks as she turns the other way. "No." She responded a completely embarrassed.
He shakes his head a little, stepping off the pile again, heading towards her "What's the matter?"
She gets redder noticing him walking towards her "N-Nothings the matter."
He stops in front of her, slowly giving up and leaning his body on the floor "That...it's up to me to decide. So what is it?"
She bit her lip looking anywhere but at the dragon in front of her "it's just...your so beautiful I've never seen a dragon like you before." She looked down at her hands trying to avoid eye contact
For a moment, He's kind of grateful that she breaks eye contact, as He's speechless at what He's hearing "Um...Thanks, I guess..."
"Don't make it so awkward." Even though those words left her mouth there was an awkward silence followed behind.
"...Go ahead. Ask what you want" He says, laying his head on the ground.
She smiles, a little grateful that he wasn't much of a dick anymore "well..first off what kind of dragon are you?"
He closes his eyes, calmly, "I'm a cloud dragon, also called a lightning dragon. I think that takes away some of your many doubts, doesn't it?"
"Maybe.." she says quietly before thinking for a moment "If your a cloud dragon how come your down here..?" She spoke up feeling more relaxed and comfortable
And here we are, the question He knew was going to come. "Quite simply; Because I want to. Cloud dragons have a habit of traveling in the storm, absorbing its rays and using its electricity, so we're constantly changing. I don't want to. I think here is... nice"
"Hmmm...but isn't change sometimes..good?" She asked thinking back to before the princess ran away from the Castle that she once called home. Doing the same routine every day and attending the same royal duty's getting sick of the constant routine
