Y/n's POV:
I stood in shock until I had felt someone caressing my face again. "Carra mia, she won't try anything again if she knows what's good for her," Jane grumbled, looking me over before pulling me close. I was so focused on her that I failed to realize the screaming had stopped.
"I missed you," I mumble into her shoulder. I yelp when I feel her arms tighten around me. "If she touches you again I. WILL. KILL. HER." she promised. Smiling, I cup her face " I can handle myself, Amor you don't have to worry."
Jane's POV:
"I know Principessa, I'm just worried about you," I say quickly, placing y/n on the bed, lying next to her. Y/n's head laying on my chest as she cuddles up closer to me. I smile as I run my fingers through her hair (If you don't have hair, then she is fiddling with your shirt).
Time passes, and I space out with thoughts of what could have happened to y/n if I wasn't there. My chest tightens as I remember the way Lorenza looked at y/n. She was staring at her like she was a piece of meat, and she was a starved mutt.
"I swear that if she tries anything again, I will torture her for eternity," I whisper, promising myself that I'll keep it. Y/n shuffles closer to me in her dazed state, causing me to smile softly. Slowly, I relax and get lost in my thoughts.
Aro's POV:
I frown when I hear screaming coming from Jane and her mate's quarters. "Felix" I call, "Yes, master?" "Go and assist Jane with her inconvenience" I smile as Felix disappears.
Should any harm befall my main guard or the hatters, I would personally send the perpetrator to the depths of hell.
The screaming stops as Felix drags someone into the throne room. Felix throws them in front of me as I walk toward her limp body. "Ah, dear Lorenza, what were you doing at Jane's door?" I smile, grasping her hand.
When I do, I see her desire to have y/n, and my slime drops. I saw what her intentions were in having me send the twins away. What truly broke my heart was the hidden pain and fear in Jane's eyes. When she had seen Lorenza pushing herself onto
y/n, all of her emotions had shown in her eyes and her gift. Never have I seen Jane cause someone such sharp and burning pain before.
"Alec" my voice booms "Master", "Take this disgrace to the far side of the castle, where the lowest guard members live" I hiss. Alec takes her out immediately while I order Felix to contact Victor And Rowland about Lorenza's actions.
I sigh as I walk to my quarters to spend the night with Sulpicia. But before I enter our room I can't help but chuckle at Jane's inevitable possessiveness.
