Third person's pov:

Anna was a normal 19 year old, beautiful,  attractive and loving, living in a one bedroom In a nice apartment, a high quality one with good service,

She worked at a cafe as a waitress or a cashier, sometimes help out at the kitchen.

There,  a proud customer, called ray grace field would stop by everyday,

He was a vice CEO working with Norman, he had black hair which covered his other eye, green olive eyes, and was also a handsome man, a gentleman.

Anna had a slight crush on him, especially when they were known as childhood best friends.

Ray would give an extra tip to the cafe, which made him one of the kindest and most respected customer in the cafe.

"welcome! How may I help you t- Oh!" Anna said approaching the similar friend who happens to be ray.

"the usual? " she asked the ravenette,

He nodded as an answer, the blondie than walked to the kitchen, informing the chefs.

Time skip..

"it was nice having you here, ray. Have a nice day?" Anna said with her hands placed together, forming a gentle smile on her face as usual.

"ah-  is it fine if I stay her for a while? You know, because I've haven't talked to you since you never went to college." ray asked the blondie which looked rather surprised.

"hm..  Not a problem, but..  My break time is not until half an hour so-" Anna was finishing her sentence until ray spoke and cut her off

"that's fine, I did bring some paper works I have to finish, so... I'll probably buy some time." he said with a small smile on his face, patting her head which made her flinch.

"ri-right-" Anna stutters and leaves the ravenette looking like a tomato.

"geez, cant you keep your blush in at least for 3 seconds?" Nat, who became Anna's  friend first day working at the cafe.

"it's not my fault he keeps acting up so cool like that! If you were me, you'd understand." she hissed and her friend, going back to the kitchen still flustered.

Anna was serving the foods to the other customers, which attracted some of the guys who were there.

Anna would smile right after,  not knowing a glaring ravenette, staring directly at the guys who looked at her in a weird way.

The guys would often get scared, some glared back but obviously ray won.

Time skip to half an hour..

"sigh... " Anna sighs, tired from walking left to right, her eyes sore too.

Trying to avoid the sunlight from shimmering in her eyes, she felt a two hands covering her eyes for her.

Remembering this signature, she obviously knew it was ray,

Back when they were young, Anna had weak eyes, and just by looking at the sky for 1 second would make her eyes burn as heck.

Ray was there, he would often close her eyes whenever shes trying to avoid the sunlight or the sky.

Cause of him, Anna wouldn't be able to see till today.

"the sunlight is still your weakness eh?" ray's deep and calming voice would appear, slowly receiving a giggle from his friend.

She went in for a hug, since they knew each other when they were kids, hugging was apparently a normal thing.

It was quite embarrassing how her head was snuggling his chest, making her completely small compared to the skinny boy.

He patted her head again,  he realized her hair was down, it was usual, she would often wear a bun of a low ponytail when shes working.

"had I ever mention your the most beautiful women I've ever met?" ray suddenly said, pulling her closer,

Then soon enough, both of their lips meet each others.

Anna had her eyes opened shocked.

Turning extremely red and flustered from the sudden kiss.

Anna then slowly closes her eyes, falling into his love, and went on for about a minute or so.

Ray releases  away from her, she still was processing what happened.

"I-.. Uhm. .." she tried saying stuff that could distract the awkward silence.

"I.. I might sound ridiculous but..."

"when you and I were still in elementary, I had a small crush on you which turned into a huge one... I know I acted like a jerk, but the truth is, because of getting nervous to speak to you, I blur out and just said those mean things..

You distance yourself from me ever since high school, and didn't want to go to college because I was going to the same one, didn't you?" he stopped,

"how did yo-" Anna was cut off

"I'm smarter than you think Anna."

..

"ray..." she said softly, she couldn't help but pull him into a another kiss, ending the day with the two holding each other.
