Xavier's mind was a complete mess at the moment. He just couldn't understand what was happening. He felt like ripping his hair out.
As the boys were walking toward the booth their friends were waiting for them when Axel breaks the silence. "What the fuck did you do? The girls were beyond mad at you. Me, I understand it's normal and they don't literally mean it but today was different. Hell, even Giz was mad at the level I'd never seen. You fucked up big time, man" he said patting Xavier's back.
"You think I don't know? I just don't understand what the fuck I did wrong." He grumbled while rubbing his face with his palms. "Well whatever you did, just fix it soon if you want your sunshine back," Axel said now teasingly to Xavier who just flipped him off.
Reaching their booth, they go inside and see two of their friends going through the list of songs. "What's up fuckers?" Axel says declaring his entrance. The boys inside the booth stand up and hug their recently arrived friends. "Took you two long enough," said the guy with the camera rolling his eyes. "Chill up Leo, we just got held up," Axel says to his friends with his usual cheerful tone.
"Oh come, guys, I'm really happy we are finally in the same school. This year is going to be amazing." Ryan said grinning at his friends. "Oh, tell me about it" Axel exclaimed fist-bumping Ryan.
The three friends continued to talk on with Xavier momentarily participating otherwise lost in his own thoughts. What did I do? What's wrong? It's killing me now. Did I say something? Did I forget something? His mind was a mess.
Leo notices his friend's inattentiveness and questions him, "You okay? Not that you are normally not silent but today something feels off." He asked with concern. Before Xavier could reply Axel chimes in, "Oh he's just thinking about why his girlfriend is mad at him." and throws a wink at Ryan hinting at him about who.
"She's not my girlfriend Axel" Xavier groans tiredly at his friend's teasing now. "Sorry dude, my mistake." Axel says grinning at Xavier, he then turns towards Leo and continues, "I meant his future wife" and winks at Xavier. This was the final stretch for Xavier. He picks up the nearest thing to him and throws it at Axel. Which happens to be, fortunately for Axel, a pillow.
"Ugh. Jokes apart I really don't understand what the fuck did you do." Axel questions Xavier. "For fuck's sake Axel, I REALLY DON'T KNOW OKAY!!" Uh, oh. Xavier was angry now.
Accessing the situation and being the smart one, Leo speaks up, " Calm down Xavier, it cannot be that bad. Why don't you try talking to her?" This causes Xavier to groan again but he doesn't say anything. He knows by the treatment he got, it has to be bad, very bad.
