While you and William sat and ate, you got to talking. You verified that he is intact British and he's 32 (he had Michael when he was 35 so no kids yet). He moved to the US to go to college and that's where he met Henry. But after awhile of him talking you just find yourself staring at him.
He just so pretty. The few streaks on grey hair look almost white in the light of the dining room. He eventually he notices you staring and waves his hand in front of your face to see if your paying attention.
"Earth to (y/n), you there?" He says with a low chuckle, affectively snapping you out of your trance.
"Didn't you know that it's rude to stare, doll?" You felt your face get warm. Doll? Has he always used pet names with you? If he did you hadn't noticed but you sure ass hell didn't mind it when he was the one saying them.
"Y-yeah sorry..." you'd stutter out, looking down at your lap to avoid eye contact. He gently places his thumb on your chin and lifts your head up to make you look at him. He was a lot closer than he was a second ago.
His eyes flick between your lips and your eyes as if he wanted to kiss you. He leaned in just a little bit closer to you to where your lips were just mere centimeters away from each other.
"Can I kiss you?" He whispers as he looks back into your eyes. You open your mouth to speak but nothing comes out, so you give him a small nod as a response instead. Your lips connected and it left like time stopped. His lips were so soft against yours. It felt like fireworks were going off in your body as he moved his hand from your chin to caress your cheek. Eventually he pulled away and you felt yourself chasing the kiss.
Kissing him once again, your nerves felt like they were on fire. You felt him smile into the kiss, only lasting a couple of seconds before you pulled away.
"It's getting late love, might wanna get going soon." He said with a sigh.
"I would offer to let you stay here for the night but I don't wanna come off as strange." He laughs as he takes your hand in his.
"Yeah I probably gotta get going anyways. I gotta open the store tomorrow again" you say with a sigh, standing up.
"Well at least let me walk you to the car. Do you want any left overs? You could borrow my Tupperware" you think for a moment. Bringing home left overs would give you a reason to come back and see him again. Liking this option you nod. Smiling at you, William stands up and walks back to the kitchen to put together some for you.
Once he comes back from the kitchen he hands it to you as you look outside. It's raining. Of course it is. He holds his finger up to you before he rushes upstairs. Once he comes back down, you notice a dark grey hoodie. He hands it to.
"It might a little big on you but it'll keep you warm and dry". You slip it on. He wasn't kidding, it was huge on you. You look back up at him for a second to thank him but he swiftly cuts you off with a kiss. This one wasn't as gently. This was almost hungry. Tangling his fingers in your hair, he nips your bottom lip.
"Don't look at me like that with my clothes on, I might not be able to control myself, dollface" he says with a dark chuckle. Your face feels like it's on fire as we walks you to your car. William gives you one last hug before you get in.
"Drive safe, love" he flashes you another smile of his. After a short drive home you flop back on your bed, replaying the nights events in your head. Eventually you get back up and get ready for bed, it was getting late after all and you still had to go to work in the morning.
