It was a cloudy day, I felt many cramps throughout my body. Probably from sitting all day yesterday because that was something I'm not used to. "Ugh," I moaned, don't any of you guys take that differently, it was just a noise. I had gotten out of the room so I could get ready for school and Amy was already out of the hallway. "How was your first day of school," she asked.

"I don't want to talk about it," I replied, not wanting to make the situation bigger than it is.

"What happened?"

"It's nothing."

"Oh, I'm sorry that happened. My day was great yesterday. Were your classes ok? Were they hard?"

"They weren't hard whatsoever, it was just slow"

"Yeah, 90-minute classes do go by very slowly, but today's Friday so early release. I do need help with a Spanish project later today. And you know Spanish very well."

"Yeah, I'll help you. My Spanish is very fluent."

"You'll ace Spanish next year. We better get ready or Blaze will start yelling her butt off. You can take your shower first."

"Ok." Now since I know how to work the shower from the painful experience, I won't get burned. We're not going to make the same mistake, I thought. We're going to turn the knob to the middle and we'll be good. After the shower, I was about to put on my clothes and I forgot to grab the clothes. It was a good thing Amy was in her room, getting her clothes. "Amy," I said.

"Yeah," she replied

"Can you pass me my clothes on my bed? I forgot to bring it."

"Ok."

"Thanks." That was one close call, it could've been worse, missing the bus and getting in trouble. Trouble was one thing I avoided doing. Luckily, I didn't have the same class as Sonic today, which meant I couldn't get bullied in any way. There were still some leftover pancakes from yesterday. These pancakes are quite good, I thought.

"I already set you a plate for yourself," Amy said.

"Thank you," I replied.

"I'm just trying to make things easier for you because you're still new here."

"I get it."

"Syrup?"

"Yes."

"So you're turning 14 next year?"

"Yeah, January 25."

"Jeez, you're old. My birthday's September 23, 2001. Which is very soon. What do you want to do for your birthday?"

"I don't know."

"You'll probably know once you see more things."

"Probably."

"We'll finish your food. We got to wait for the bus." While waiting for the bus, there was a cul de sac. So the bus turns on the cul de sac and then picks up Amy and meI instead of picking Amy and me up, they turn on the cul de sac and leave. "The driver could've just picked us up first and then pick us up," I said.

"That's what I said," Amy replied. "But no one listens." This is why I still stand by what I said about Americans not using their common sense if something is practical, there are no cars that come on this street and drive through like that, so why not pick us up there? It wouldn't take us 5 seconds to get from one side of the road to the other. Instead of calling America the 'land of the free,' it should be the 'land of the extras,' because of the amount of extra and ignorant people here. One thing I didn't realize was Bowser Jr. was on the same bus. "Hey, sit over here," Bowser Jr. said. "How was your first day of school?"
