Josie just got adopted. My best friend. Some rich family wanted a pretty little girl. Josie always stuck up for me when I never had the guts to. I wander how I'm going to be doing from now on. After a while I decided to go to bed. In the middle of the night, I woke up sweating. After that I heard a moan. I thought I was dreaming, so I tried to go back to bed. I then heard another moan... but louder. By now, I was scared out of my mind! But I was frozen in place when I saw a horrifying creature. One eye was gone, the other bright red. Then, I woke up. I realized it was all a dream. No, not a dream, a nightmare. Then I heard the head mistress call. Time for breakfast! We had bacon and eggs. Not my favorite, but I ate it anyway. After I was finished three girls came up to me. Lisa, Colette, and Tiffany. "Looks like your precious little Josie isn't here to defend you."Lisa said. I sat there like I couldn't hear them and didn't respond. "Hello!" Screamed Lisa. I decided to not respond and keep distance. "Look, she's stupid and deaf!" Said Lisa. Now, I had enough of them. "No, Lisa I'm not deaf." I said quietly. "Well Josie did all of your talking for you so I guess you're not deaf just a wimp and a loser." Lisa said making an "L" shape on the top of her head. I didn't want to start anything, so I ran away from her. As I hid, I decided to escape from the orphanage. It was miserable there. I planned to escape tonight when everyone was asleep.
