I get startled out of my own thoughts when my phone starting ringing
I groan reaching over to grab it
("Hello") I say lazily putting the phone up to my ear
("Alexandra") I hear my mother voice on the only line making me sit up straight
("Hello mom how are you") I say
("Don't how are you me where are you") she asked sternly
("I'm at the castle where else would I be") I chuckle
("We'll I'm at the castle now and the village is telling me they haven't seen you in almost a week. Where. Are you. Don't tell me you went to the human world" she said sternly making my cower
("I went to find my mate...and I...I found her") I say smiling widely at the last part
I hear my mother sigh
("When are you coming back...I want to meet this women you call your mate") she said
("Today at 2")
("I'll be waiting") she says before hanging up
("I love you to") I say after she hangs up
("Who was that") ella asked walking into the room
("Oh my mother she wants to meet you when we go to the kingdom") I say I can see her tense up but she puts on a smile I can is a little fake
("I can tell your faking it") I say my arms crossed
("I'm not I just...I don't know Alex this is all A lot I'm so used to being in the human world and closed off I guess I just don't really know...your mother wants to meet me my maybe future mother and law") she says rubbing her forehead
("Hey it'll be ok she'll love you") I say kissing the back of her hand
She gives me a hopeful smile and I give her one back.

I'm waiting at the front door for louella to finish packing whatever she's packing I don't need to pack anything since I don't have much but the clothes I was wearing when I came here
Right now I'm wearing a white hooded sweater with some writing on the side with the matching white joggers

("Louella") I call out for her I'm staring to get a little impatient since I've been standing here for almost forty five minutes
("Im coming") she yelled making me snort Thinking for a dirty joke
A couple minutes later she's comes out with two suit cases and three Duffle bags
("Babe you don't need all that stuff") I say and she smiles at me and shrugs
("You called me babe") she teases I roll my eyes
("Okay are you ready")
("Yup") she says Walking outside
("What's this") she looks at the car in the drive way I rented
("Rental car for we get to the woods") I say she nods her head putting her things in the trunk
—thirty minutes later—
A couple minutes later a finally pull up to the woods getting out the car I walk to the trunk and pull out Ella's luggage she tries to stop me but I don't listen
We hurry and run into the woods before anyone can stop us
I use my wings to fly a little ways above the trees I watch as Ella uses her super speed
A couple minutes later we arrive at the portal it took us almost and hour to get here since it's far back in the woods
Slowly I stop flapping my wings and lane next to Ella with her luggage
Is can see her starting through the portal
("I'll be ok") I tell her putting my wings away
She gives me a small smile before grabbing my hand
She takes a deep breath before walking through the portal.
