He felt so numb.

So numb. So lost. So... So lonely.

And yet... Everything hurt. All at once.

His chest ached, his head pounded, his arms burned.

Yet he felt so numb.

Plip.
Plip.
He heard the maddening droplets of his blood hitting the bathwater.

But somehow...
He simply didn't care.

He knew this was best.

Plip, plip.
Plip, plip.
Plip, plip, plip.
He watched the blood bubble up and over the side of his wrist as the razor moved back and forth.

He felt the stinging burn.
But yet he felt nothing.

Was this true numbness? He didn't know.

Numbness was all he wanted.

Drop, drop.
Drop, drop.

He leaned his heavy head back, listening to the fast dripping of his blood into the contaminated water.

"Soon," he thought, "soon I will reach my sunflower field..."

He shut his eyes and began to feel light headed.

The blade slipped tenderly from his fingers.

Dripdripdripdrip.

He gave a weak smile as he felt himself slipping into unconciousness.

Plopplopplopplop.

The blood ran faster and dripped into the water rapidly.

Until...
There was no more.
