Chapter One: Farting Pig And Booger Eater

Today's been a long day.

“After a month of going home late just to finish the mural on our school, it all pays off when they handed me the brown envelope that contains my beloved, ” I waved my brown envelope in the air and get the money inside it. The money looks so new, it looks like it just got release from the bank. I couldn't help my self but to grin at the sight of the prize.

I really need a hot ramen and yakult after this. I've been through a lot just to get this prize. I closed the door of the art club after cleaning and stocking the materials I used. Then, I heard some voices from the hallway. They are guys' voice. It's faint but I can tell that it is a man's voice. I walked faster, going to the direction where the voices came from. I recognized someone's voice. Baldwin. One of the voices came from Baldwin.
I walk more faster and saw the two people standing. It was Baldwin and— I can't recognize the other person's face since it's been hidden by the shadow of the pillar. It is also starting to dark outside. I walk more closely to see the other person's face clearly. Walter? Why are they talking so seriously.

“Hey, baldy!” I  shouted at Baldwin and he automatically faced me. He looks so startled, he looks like he needs to pee. “Are you badmouthing me? Why are you so startled when you noticed me?” I jokingly approached him but he just look at me with a grumpy face.

“You don't need to be badmouthed, your image is already bad, you, Pig!” hah! The audacity of him to call me pig! My weight is just 50 kilograms, that moron! I walk towards them and joined them stand there like a fool.

“Shut up you Booger eater! You are so disgusting to eat your own Booger!” he looks so shocked when I said those words and his ears started to looks red. He's annoyed. I know it because we were like siblings. He often eats at our house just to save money. Before he can say another disturbing words, I faced Walter to change my attention. “Walter, I thought you already go home after cleaning the paint brushes? By the way, what are you two talking about?” I curiously asked him. He stared at me sorting my things in my bag for a while and smiled at me. Oh, man. He looks so dashing smiling at me.

“I waited for you but I saw Baldwin approaching so we had a small talk, ” how can a man looks this good when smiling? He said those words as if he was promoting something in a television commercial because he looks like a model while saying those words. “Is that so, may I know why did you wait for me?” I hopefully said. “I actually have something to tell you...” he paused talking for a while and glanced at Baldwin who is giving him death glares and meaningful looks. Just what the hell did they talk about? Walter then smiled at him and faced me back, “but I already forgot what will I say, I'm sorry,” he awkwardly smiled at me, “I've been so forgetful this past few days.” he added, still having an awkward smile painted on his lips and hands at the back of his neck.

“You heard him right? It's nothing so we should keep going,” Baldwin grabbed my hand and started to drag me towards the stairs. “Bye for now, Walter,” he sarcastically bade a goodbye to him as he drag me. Ah, He really doesn't have some manners. I looked back at Walter and waved my hands to bade my goodbye.

“Tita Olivia's been worried about you, Jhace. Why are you not picking up your phone? I am on my way home when tita asked me to look for you,” he preached on me like he is my father. I just rolled my eyes on him. “oh, about that, my phone got drained that's why I can't be contacted.” I smiled at him sweetly just to annoy him even more, he stared at me while I was smiling and made a disgusted look. Do I really look that bad? “you're such a drag. You have a lot of debt on me now, you should be worried how to repay me.” I gave him a what-are-talking-about-are-you-crazy look and continued to walk past through him, “you were really badmouthing me on Walter, didn't ya?” I stated. “What if what he really wanna say to me is a confession about his love towards me?” I jokingly added. He suddenly hit my forehead with with palm with annoyance. He just keeps on mumbling words I can't understand. All right, his annoyed. “W-O-W! Such confidence! Who would have had an interest about you? You little Farting Pig! Your such a drag no one can be patient enough with you except me!, ah, why on earth did I you became my friend! You should be thankful about our parents you have a good looking best friend.”
he seriously said and he stopped walking.

“Ouch! It hurts, are you really picking a fight on me, hah! JHACE?” He looks so furious when I accidentally stepped on his shoes because he suddenly stopped walking.

“It was your fault. You suddenly stopped walking, I didn't mean to step on you.” I whispered on the air, “I can hear you.”

Baldwin, then entered to a small convenient store. I forgot I said to him that we should stop by a convenient store because I have to buy something. That is why he suddenly stopped walking. What a big dumb I am. After self blaming, I also enter at the store to buy my sweet Hot ramen and Yakult!

After buying some stuff, we continued walking since we are on the same neighborhood and are house are literally just across with each other. We walked silently in the dim streets.

“So what are you planning on our senior's night?”

“I don't know,” I replied still confuse.

“Let's go there together, Jhace. I know you wouldn't find a partner and I have an extra tuxedo for you. Don't let this slide, I am offering you my kindness.” He smiled at me sweetly.

“Ouch! That hurts!” he constantly yelled as I keep on hitting him with my shoe. “I'm a girl! You punk!” How dare he make fun of me!
