StemPaw and BristlePaw walked up to MaplePaw and FrostyPaw, "you are not even real warriors" StemPaw teased "Yeah! If we ever had a battle we would beat you so easily" taunted BristlePaw "You know what? Let's have a battle! Two on two! I know we will beat you" FrostyPaw shouted. "Fine tonight we will sneak out of camp and have a battle!" StemPaw mewed "fine!" MaplePaw shouted. MaplePaw and FrostyPaw stormed off into the medicine den. They looked around to make sure no one else was in the den. "Do you think MapleShade will be mad if we don't come tonight?" FrostyPaw asked timidly. "I'm sure she will understand" MaplePaw mewed. "Well we might as well tidy up the den while we wait we don't want JayFeather mad at us too." MaplePaw said.
Later that night
"Alright they are both asleep let's sneak out before they wake up" FrostyPaw whispered. they both snuck out of the den then meet their little mates at the dirt place "Ok follow us we know the way" BristlePaw whispered. They followed BristlePaw out of the camp to the sandy hollow, "ok we are here you mouse hearts ready? Or will you chicken out? Huh?" StemPaw hissed "we are ready! And you won't be able to even lay a paw on us" MaplePaw interjected. "Fine! Then let's start the battle" StemPaw hissed pouncing on FrostyPaw, FrostyPaw remember their training in star-clan unsheathing her claws ranking StemPaws belly drawing blood. Meanwhile BristlePaw pinned MaplePaw, she remembered what MapleShade taught her and went limp, "Ha giving up already?" BristlePaw hissed, just then MaplePaw pounced onto BristlePaw, clawing her face drawing blood "Stop!" BristlePaw cried "We are sorry we will stop teasing you" StemPaw cried, then SpotFur Came running in, "What are you doing" she snarled "you two should know better! You are medicine cats!" She hissed, "But they asked us to fight!" FrostyPaw mewed "No buts! And you two will be the ones that will tend to their wounds since you inflicted them! I will also be having a conversation with JayFeather and BrambleStar you are in so much trouble I can't even explain it!" SpotFur snarled. FrostyPaw and MaplePaw glared at their siblings and walked back to camp with their litter mates.
FrostyPaw and MaplePaw tended to BristlePaw and StemPaws wounds. "Haha you are in so much trouble!" BristlePaw mocked "we still beat you, and it wasn't even that hard. You two were to mousehearted to use your claws" mewed FrostyPaw. "Yeah it was like fighting newborn kits" MaplePaw laughed "How did you two even learn how to fight? We have been training for like a moon and you haven't even trained at all" mewed StemPaw "I dunno guess we are just that much better than you two, and you can leave now your wounds will heal up soon" MaplePaw mewed.
They both passed out right when they laid down. "Your late MapleShade hissed. "Sorry we just had to teach BristlePaw and StemPaw a little lesson about mocking us, let's just say they won't be able to train for the rest of the week" FrostyPaw laughed "Yeah we really taught them a lesson! They won't even think about making fun of us anymore!" MaplePaw interjected "That's good! They have done nothing but make fun of you your entire life! Just like the rest of the clan! They don't appreciate your real potential! But I have not been entirely truthful with you... this is not really starclan. This is actually the dark forest. This is a place where cats that were deemed unworthy of joining starclan." MapleShade mewed "wait so this is where evil cats go?! W-what did you do to get in here?" FrostyPaw asked timidly "oh... well I use to live in thunderclan, many many moons ago. Before the clans even lived at the lake. I was a noble warrior through and through, but I broke the code. I had kits with a cat from another clan. And I know it was wrong of me. My clan exiled me and my kits. They were barley even two moons old. I tried to take them to live with their father but the stream swept them away. One of my clan mates saw them drowning. But they did nothing to save them!" MapleShade explained "their father saw them as well, he tried to save them but couldn't! He was to busy with his new mate!" She snarled "I know what I did was wrong but those cats deserved it!" Snarled MapleShade "what did you do to them?" MaplePaw asked very interested "well I killed RavenWing, he was the cat who exposed me to the clan getting me exiled and causing my kits to die" MapleShade Explained, "Well why would he tell everyone? If he knew you would have been exiled couldn't he have waited until your kits were a bit older? "FrostyPaw asked?
"Those were my exact thought! "I had to kill my own clan mate... she let my kits die! She sat there watching them drowning and did nothing! Then I tried to kill my mate, appledusks mate... she took him from me. But appledusk jumped in front of her and I- I- I accidentally killed him" she sobbed "so you killed them to avenge you kits?" MaplePaw asked. "Of course! Then I was out in this place because of it! And they all get to live their life peacefully in starclan!" Hissed MapleShade. "Well I think you did the right thing and honestly I would have done the same! This place is not for EVIL cats! It's just a place for cats that others don't think are good enough to join starclan!" Mewed FrostyPaw. "Oh and by the way MapleShade we won't be able to come tomorrow as it will be the half moon meeting." MaplePaw added "alright but you will have to train twice as hard the next day. Do you understand?" MapleShade asked.
"We do!" They both said then the forest faded away as they woke up. They walked with JayaFeather, and SpotFur to talk to BrambleStar about the fight last night, how was this fair? It wasn't even our fault and now we have to get in trouble for it?! "You two should know better" BrambleStar growled "You swore that you would protect cats! Not injure them! You two are on tick duty for the next 3 moons!" BrambleStar hissed "Follow me now, we have to go to moon pool. You will get to meet the other medicine cats there" mewed JayFeather.
