Palaces of Perceptions takes place in a small rural farming town in French Canada.

Q&A w/characters

Give us a brief introduction:

Elina: "My name is Elina Cardaillon, I'm eighteen years old, I like art and writing."

Milo: "I'm Milo Cardaillon, Elina's my twin sister, so I'm also eighteen. I LOVE music, swimming, and fashion, and, ummmm... my favorite color is black."

Thalia: "Hey, I'm Thalia, Thalia Hess, I'm nineteen, and I love animals? Do I have to list out all the things Milo just said, or is that enough?"

Theo: "Hi, my name is Theodore Aboller but you can call me Theo. I'm seventeen and um, I'm a gardener. Also, my favorite color is sky blue. Is that enough?"

How tall are you?

Elina: "I'm 5'8"--but make sure you subtract two inches from whatever my brother tells you he is– he's notorious for telling people he's taller than he really is."

Milo: "I'm 6'4"! Yeah! Do not believe Elina this is very true."

Thalia: "5'4" and three quarters."

Theo: "I'm 5'7", or about 170cm."

What's your biggest pet peeve?

Elina: "Incompetence."

Milo: "Liars! Can't stand 'em–unless it's about my height but *shhh*. And unnecessary yelling."

Thalia: "Slow walkers, like dude, I have places to be."

Theo: "Bullies definitely. I'm a pacifist but I'll punch someone if they're mean to my siblings."

What are you obsessed with?

Elina: "Art. Collecting it, looking at it, you name it. I can't actually paint, but maybe I'll learn someday."

Milo: "DEFINITELY music. I'm always listening to music, I force Elina to play violin for me sometimes–she's so talented. But classical music, Taylor Swift, Doja Cat, anything, all the time."

Thalia: "My goat! She's just two years old, I've had her since she was a baby. Painting, too, especially landscapes."

Theo: "I'm a gardener and I love learning all about plants and their properties. Oh and I read a lot, my favorite books are mystery novels, especially by E. Claude."

What embarrassing memory haunts you?

Elina: "....No comment."

Milo: "Oh my god this one time I was shadowing my father at this business meeting, right? And when I was walking in, in front of all these important people in suits with clipboards and EVERYTHING, guess what. I FALL OVER. ON THE FLOOR. Mortifying, honestly, should have been wearing my glasses. Ugh."

Thalia: "Oh, I don't know, I try not to think about the past and my mistakes all that much."

Theo: "I, um, I used to get bullied a lot when I was younger."

What's your favorite song?

Elina: "Killer Queen by Queen. Makes me feel powerful, I like playing it while I get ready for the day."

Milo: "GETAWAY CAR by Taylor Swift! I'm a huge swiftie, but I'm a sucker for classical music too, so Vivaldi's Four Seasons is up there."

Thalia: "Hmmmm... that's hard, but I'd have to go with Good Days by SZA!"

Theo: "Um, maybe Love in the Time of Socialism by Yellow House or Death with Dignity by Sufjan Stevens."

Yes, two people are writing this. YAY! We honestly don't know how this is going to go but it's going for sure so. Also, we are both idiots so please don't hate on us.
