The duo strolled back into the heat and across the patio. The table of Fijians went into a hush as Tane walked past with his surfboard. Siteri lowered her daiquri with a curious tilt of her head.

"Psymon, is this you're doing..?" She grinned as she pointed to Tane. Psymon shrugged, slowing his walk as Tane continued walking down into the sands.

"That depends..." He raised his eyebrows. Siteri let out a laugh.

"If you can get him back on the waves, you can't be all bad." She relaxed back into her chair as Psymon smirked before continuing after Tane. As soon as they were out on the sands, Tane's family began to clap and catcall. Eve and Freya joined them and only got louder as Tane gave them a look.

"That was a short tour." Freya grinned up at the couple. Psymon retrieved his beer he had left in the sand but once he found it warm, got himself a new one.

"Give him a break." Psymon responded as Tane was ignoring them, turning his attention towards Emori. "He hasn't shown anyone around a house in a while." Psymon took a drink as Tane gave him a sharp glance before nodding his head towards the kids. "What? I didn't say anything bad?" He grinned as he gave a snotty reply. Tane thinned his eyes at Psymon before waving for Emori to come on. Alika walked with them, stopping int the shallow of the waves as they both got on the board; Emori sat behind his uncle, grinning broadly. Psymon sat in the sand, far enough away from the others but still decently close to the cooler. He rested his arms on his knees, taking a swig from his beer. Ruci trotted over, sitting down behind him in a mimic of his pose. "Go away." Psymon let out an annoyed sigh, not wanting to deal with the child.

"Uncle Tane talks about you a lot!" She spoke with a high level of excitement, patting at the sand before her with her palms. "Do you like him too!" Ruci glanced over, poking at Psymon's tattoos with a small finger. "I saw you on the TV when Uncle Tane was snowboarding! You snowboard too! That's cool!" She gave Psymon a large smile. The Canadian ignored her and watched as Tane sat out in the ocean, talking with his nephew as they watched a few waves pass. "Em says he wants to be a surfer like Uncle Tane. Can you surf too, Uncle Psymon?" Ruci got to her feet, moving around Psymon to inspect the tattoos that peaked out of the back of his shirt. "Daddy says I can get Uncle Tane to teach me when I'm older!" She untied Psymon's bandanna and pulled it off, finally pulling his attention away from Tane; the Fijian disappeared under a curl, lowering himself towards the board as he moved it with the wave effortlessly.

"God dammit, kid. Will you leave me alone?" He attempted to get the bandanna back but the young girl only giggled and ran away, waving it above her head. Psymon let out an irritated huff before looking back towards the ocean. Ruci chased after Ty's dog for a bit before returning to Psymon.

"Uncle Psymon!" She wrapped her arms around his neck from behind, slightly jumping onto him. Psymon rolled his eyes before puling her arms apart.

"Go. Away." He shifted away from her.

"You're funny!" Ruci ran her hands through Psymon's hair, missing it up. "Are you going to stay here with Uncle Tane?" She tugged at his ear piercings.

"Stop that and yes." He swatted her away from his piercings, fixing them before attempting once more to watch Tane surf.

"Yay!" The little girl hugged him again and ran around him. Psymon tightened his jaw as the girl sat down between his legs, leaning back against his chest. "Are you going to live with him!" Ruci rolled her head back, tugging at Psymon's beard.

"No, he's gunna make me sleep under the fucking deck. Will you stop!" He growled and Ruci only giggled. She pulled her hands back down and was still for a moment, deciding she'd watch her uncle as well. Psymon shook away the urge to shove the child as far away as humanly possible and took a long swig of his beer. Tane was fucking gorgeous out on the waves and here he was trapped with this little shit that was putting him in a bad mood.
